ekmatt9, I don't know what you are trying to achieve with your "overly negative critize" but it isn't working.

I myself rarely give thumbs up but respect is due where is it due and that pic is totally perfect.

Blur the lights? Right.....

Looks like PGr3 if you ask me, which is bloody nice.
 
That shot is awesome. REALLY close to perfection if you ask me. I might try this car for my next photoshoot and just HOPE that it looks that good.
 
Holy crap sej. I gotta go up my photoshop skills. I tell you how to do one thing, and you blow me away in less than a month. Great job, my new backround.
 
YO, DIV! What are talking about PGR3 for!!?? The cars in that game don't even look like they're touching the ground. The cars are of much higher quality than the settings and don't look like they should be there. It's almost like they're from two different games. In GT4 the cars look like they belong where they are and mix well with the background and track. Don't even talk about that game or that 360 :yuck:

Anyway, this photo is beautiful. I love the sense of speed. It looks like the big cat is hunting at night, just as cats do. The dark blue tint looks very "midnight". I can't think of anything to say about the lights i the background, but they do make the pic stand out amongst others. And, of course, the bright foglight is cool. I'm glad you put up a wallpaper version. Good thinking.
I never really knew much about XJ220s, and still don't, but I saw a TopGear episode that featured a comparison between old and new supercars. They compared the F40 to the Enzo, they had the XJ220, the Carrera GT, the McLaren F1, and a few others. It surprised me how quick those old cars are. The XJ220 was the quickest accelerating car of the whole bunch, new and old. I really gained a lot of respect for these old cars after watching that.

We can clearly see your opinion on the X360 while I'm pretty confident you don't have one.

I see what Div's saying; after nearly a year (well, over one now for the people who got the Japanese copy of the game), the amount of effort put into Photomode pics has transformed them from looking very much from GT4 to being just good digitized car shots. The differing styles and the well-done PS work around the boards sees to this.

Yes, there's a tiny bit of jaggies in the image, but that's a limitation of the game. The fact is that picture could be shown to the casual racer and I don't know if they'd be able to say which game it's from. Plus, I just love the XJ220 ;).

It really does break the mold, Sej, I wish I was adventurous enough to try new things in my gallery, but it's still baby-steps for me đź‘Ť
 
@ Div - I haven't used lense flare, it was in the game already so shiny, and with the B/C change it shined even more. And thanks for saying my pic is perfect! ;)

@ ekmatt - Blurring the left light? Nah, that wouldn't look right...

@ PB - Thanks! :) And it's less than a week I guess!! :dopey: But when I shoot a car and its diagonal I just can't get the wheels moving right...

@ Keef - I don't think the 360 is bad, I think PGR3 even has better graphics than GT4. But what would you expect? It's a next generation console man! And it aint saying that GT4 has bad graphics because it is on PS2. ;) XJ220 faster accelerating than a McLaren or Ferrari Enzo??? I don't know actually, I'll have to check it. There's a XJ220 in a showroom near my house. :dopey:

Oh and thanks for summarizing the PhotoMode history, Slip. đź‘Ť Yea, those things take some time, so everyone can optimize their styles. And you still can try things like that, if you dont like them just don't put em in your gallery. ;) But to talk about limits, franz is really moving boundaries, with his new chevy pic. đź‘Ť

Nah, the S7 is 5 times better. :D The Speed 12 looks great also, but the Ford GT looks... different. It's too blurry, and it looks like you went berzerk with the airbrushing on the right headlight. :indiff:

Also, please check out my latest update. I finally figured out gradients, and I think I make my most realistic B&W photo yet. :)
 
I like how you did the Ford GT a lot. The other two I don't agree with your editing of the colors but thats how you wanted it, and so I can't judge that :P

And Kenny, please explain more detailed. I would like to know how other people would PS these pics. :) đź‘Ť I just did these tints simply because I found them fitting with the pic, I didn't think other tints would look good with it. :crazy:
