Your new Location thing got me thinking. When I read it I though "Denmark!" I quickly realized that was oh so wrong when I remembered you talking about Holland and stuff. So I went to the ol' globe, found der Nordsee, and saw "Netherlands". How many names do you have for your country?! Holland, which I learned is not official, according to the encyclopedia, Dutchland, which probably isn't either, and the correct one, Netherlands. Those are all auf Englisch (the tiny bit if German I remember:lol: ) so what are they in Dutch? I also learned you guys are cheese mongers, even more so than people from Wisconsin, and that a Polder is a low lying piece of land that was uncovered when they started pumping water out of the Ijsselmeer. I guess they had to dam the thing up cause the rough waters kept flooding it or something, right? Oh, and Rotterdam has the busiest seaport in the world. Big accomplishment for a little country, huh?
So do you speak Deutsch too, since you're so close to Germany? That shows either the ignorance or self-sufficiency of us Americans. Seeing as we can't even build our own cars in our own country, probably just the first.
I hope I didn't make any premature assumptions in that little paragraph. Usually I'm pretty good at this geography stuff, but those three little countrys, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Denmark have always confused me.

Well, I first had Dutchland in my sig because I found it a funny word to use, but its not official at all, but you know a pretty lot of netherland. 👍 In netherland we just say 'nederland' or some may say 'holland'. But I don't like cheese at all. And I only know a little german because I go to school lol. And by the way those three little countries, shouldn't that be netherland, belgium and luxemburg? :)

No, I knew Denmark was just north of Deutschland, but I didn't know where the North Sea was, so I confused myself. I'm guessing that Dutch is pretty similar to German. Europe, to me, is weird in general because every country is so close, highly populated, and they all speak different languages. Don't you go crazy when you go out of state, err, country?

Well, most times I don't get crazy because of the different languages, but when I were in Belgium I really lost it. In the north part of Belgium, Vlaanderen, they speak dutch with an accent and some different words, but I was in the south part, where they speak french!! I only can speak a few words in french (je m'appelle...) and if they heard you were speaking dutch they got mad and if you'd ask something they didnt respond and things like that. And in Luxemburg you'll get even crazier, the people are nice over there, but that country is only like 30 Kilometres big, and they speak very much languages (german, dutch, french, english) on one place, but it isn't that annoying when people talk to you in english, but it confused me sometimes, you know.

BTW thx jmx. :)

I know not everybody likes this car, but if you at least like the pics please comment. Thanks to PB and 440Chargers tutorial I could pull this off. I photoshopped the pics with PS, and then added borders and siggies with PSP. Enjoy, and, hohoho, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! :)

Good chirstmas pics Sejtur 👍 I like the 3rd pic it's awesome :)

Happy holidays, christmas and new year!!

I like the last pic, but good job on all of them. Also, keep working on the radial blur, it looks wierd if the wheel isn't perpendicular to the camera.

Thanks for the comments people, I really appreciate it. 👍

@ PB - I don't know how to adjust that yet, :dunce: but I'll keep it in mind. 👍

@ ekMatt - If I didn't choose those angles, I couldn't apply radial blur like that, or motion blur. Glad you like my siggie. :)

@ kennythebomb - Nice to see you back man! :)

And thanks to everyone else. 👍

Very nice. The first drifting pic looks great, but the wheel blur is off on the 2nd one.

And who doesn't love this car? She's a beaut!

Thanks, Spy... Vonie... :p 👍

The reason I mentioned it is because a friend of mine doesn't like the looks of the car... :grumpy:

I love the first shot it looks like it is about to jump out of the shadows.

Thanks for the comments. 👍 I'll check out your pics, GT-One Lover. Looking at your name and avy, you might like pics of that cars black beauty, some pages back. ;)

I kinda like it. Definatley has that "Really Freakin' Fast" look to it.
But the car looks a bit over saturated.

Wow, there's that Blackbird again, doing what it does best. How did you capture the car right at the edge of that shadow!? Or did you draw it in? It looks like the car is breaking the light barrier to me, straining to bust through and into the darkness where weird things happen.
I don't know if you've seen this, but when real jets break the sound barrier they create a vacuum about halfway down the fuselage that looks like a cloud (you could do this for some photshoped pics or someting.) It's almost perfectly round and is created because the jet is moving so fast the air can't fill the space quick enough, so all you see is a white nothing. Obviously it takes a lot of power to break out of a vacuum like that. As the plane keeps acclerating it gets a little bit ahead of this vacuum and once it gets near the turbulent air at the back of the plane the air instantly fills the space again, so quickly the it goes BOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!! And that bang really is as loud as they say, if you've never heard one. I heard one on 9/11. A couple F-16s where in a hurry to get somewhere, supposedly to escort Air Force One, as it was going to fly near Dayton. They aren't supposed to go supersonic over populated areas here, but that day was the exception of all exceptions. It shook everything, louder than the loudest thunder I've ever heard. We ran outside and saw the two F-16s, about 20 miles away, doing huge S-turns in the sky. We never did figure out what the hell they were doing. All I know is I've never seen anything move across the sky that fast. It was pretty wild.
Anyway, that Spyker update is pretty cool. I have a feeling your going to keep this avatar for a while. You had some nice drifts going on. I know you were trying out some knew blur methods, and I'll tell you they need a little work. There are weird unblurred areas around the car and the wheels dn't look all that great. I some pics the car doesn't look like it's touching the ground, almost like it's a pic from Project Gotham 3 . But overall it was a cool, action filled set of pics; they make me want to eat some cheese.

Hehe, well, about the light/dark thing, it really looks like that on land. Didn't you ever see a picture like that of the SSC thrust? Well I took this one as example.

It really looks like that as you can see here. :) And about the sound barrier, I heard it once, by one F16, I was on holiday in Germany. In Holland it isn't allowed to do stuff like that, but I think it is in Germany. When it happened the whole windows were shaking and stuff, it was very impressive. I think you're right about my avy, too. :) I think I'll keep this for a period until I have a nice pic of the front of the Ford GT LM.
And the spyker update was everything accept perfect, I know. :indiff: It was kinda experimenting too, and I had a deadline at midnight, because then it would be christmas, so thats why it looks pretty unpolished.

The car looks like it's going 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 MPH. Very well done. But the car looks too oversaturated and too pixelized. Not the most clean thing thing out there. But the picture is a 👍

Also, please check out my latest update. :D

Duck

Wow. That Thrust SSC pic is pretty sweet. I think the light is from the actual pressure wave of air in front of the car. I've seen a few shock waves from explosions and stuff on TV and it usually makes the ground look brighter. It messes with the dirt or something, I don't know. I didn't know it actually did that on the ground with a car, though. That's pretty cool. You should try to take a pic of that Blackbird when it is zoomed way out and going really fast. That'd be pretty neat.

<---Check out the new avvy, yo!

Now as I was wondering in my own gallery (I posted a question there) I liked my own experiments better than my regular kinda boring stuff....now I see some experimenting in this gallery and hell yeah continue with it dude:eek::drool:

Only thing thats NOT exactly perfect is the little bright yellow edge in front of the car, I dunno it looks like the most forward tip of the car is slicing through the air, while I would expect it to be somewhere after the front where resistance increases.

I cant explain really, but offcourse.....why bother it's a perfect picture:tup:!!!

Edit: I'm kinda sure I wanna try something like it too:dopey: Just to be creative, it's much more damn fun:crazy:

Thanks for the comments. 👍

Nice you're going to experiment, GT4Fan. If you got a good concept it just can't go wrong!

Im glad you all like the pic, not because of smooth things ofcourse, but everything can happen when making a pic with such speed! :p

And now someone guess where I took this shot!!! :D
