The two NSX concepts and the two Delta Wings were there on release. They were essentially part of the base game, but for whatever reason, they weren't shipped with the disc. Same applies to the Gazoo racing 86 and Lexus LFA.
The mercedes Vision car is just one car with two minor variations.
Red Bull Kart is a 125CC Kart with a different livery.
Same goes for the GT Academy cars. Just new liveries on existing cars.
Corvette Stringray barely qualifies as a new car.

The 3 X2014's are new, albeit two of them look near (if not completely) identical.

So we have a total of 6 actual new car models (X2014's, BMW M4, BMW Vision and Mercedes Vision), with a few more to come. Hardly amazing.

PD apologists. So many of them. And so little time to prove them wrong.

Edit: Forgot about the Hudson, which was also added. Bringing the number of new car models up to 7.

Second edit: Missed the Toyota FT-1, which brings the total number up to 8.

It probably won't be a game update. PD would have announced one already.

If it doesn't come whenever the PS Store in your respective region updates, and it becomes June.. then that's reason to get mad. Until then, stay calm.. and find something to do.

Gran Turismo 6 is just a videogame; a mere element of recreation. Its fundamental design is based around burning off spare time in a positive way. Its purpose is not to completely form someone's life. In anticipation of the upcoming content, I decided to comb through a couple of threads because I'm curious to see what everyone is thinking. The fact that people are up in arms about a couple of hours' delay in the release of 3 cars and 2 tracks is just preposterous. I didn't post here for the sake of being an angry hypocrite; rather, I was suddenly angered by the common mindset here, and so posted in expression of my feelings about the whole situation.

They weren't in 1.00, so I count those as additional cars. They weren't on the disc and had to be downloaded.

The Racing version is an actual racing car with very high downforce.

Conceded, barring the new GT3 car. It's a GT3 car in a different spec than the existing one.

I assume the near-identical ones are the Standard and Fan, but I can see the key differences in them.

I'm not a PD apologist. I'm just a bit fed up with people saying we get "nothing" when we get something notable. I'm at the point where I hardly turn on the game until I see something in the GTP news that gets me interested.
