Spa wil not come?Lol, it was the most broken take at Spa I've ever read here. Getting a track only for live events but not for millions of players? Seriously?
A couple "What ifs" regarding what could come with Spa:
Maybe the first muti-class racing since Gr.2 GT League events. the events.Due to the Sponsorship with Michelin, maybe this is added to
introduction of TCR cars? First ever TCR only endurance, race early next month
There was an article here a month ago saying it was 'confirmed' during the New York event last August but no exact date was revealed. Is there confirmation on if and when we will get Spa???
I remember last month everybody saying "its happening". I guess I missed what it was that was happening but it certainly was not Spa.
Why is it zero chance? We don’t know Tokyo wet is coming before October. If Red Bull Ring is anything to go by Tokyo wet will be a late October/November addition.
There are two unallocated slots in the FIA schedule for early October. It makes most sense they will be Spa. Either way, there’s zero chance licensing has been paid for a tournament and not the full game.
Of course, it will come.Spa wil not come?

Jimmy Broadbent said on the live broadcast Spa is coming to the game soon in a future update. Why is it zero chance?
But it's no different from other updates ! It will be free, like always. Why people are always speculate about making the Spa update ultra-special, like a paying DLC? I really don't get it.
Obviously it is special or it would have been in this game a long time ago. Someone decided it was going to cost more money than ever before to obtain the license to use their track. If that's the sole purpose we have not received SPA yet then like I said pass that cost on to the consumer because I have no problem paying for any DLC that I want if that's what it takes.
At this point in time nobody knows if or when SPA is coming or if it will be free or paid DLC. Everything is pure speculation at this time.
Just because PD has not charged for any DLC in GTS doesn't mean that they can't or won't at some point. Seeing as you can already buy some DLC from the PS Store for GTS makes that idea not so far fetched.
This is not the policy of PD or Sony. When Ferrari come to GT5, I don't think you paid more than usual. This story of costly license will not change anything. It will change the whole commercial of the game, and GTS will be snobed by most people if a DLC come with a price. They get money from PS Plus and selling the game, plus a lot of extra. They've got no reason to want more money, as they have exclusive partnerships that will certainly cost more money than Spa.
I doubt if many people would be happy once this becomes a reality. Also, the game probably wouldn't have sold that much if not for the free content each month.I could not agree more, in fact I feel that I have gotten far more than $50 worth of entertainment from the game at this point which was the initial cost. I don't think PD owes us anything for free anymore. I would be happy to pay DLC to bring the new content faster and for more of it.

Do you have to tell me that? I never even said that the game should never stop offering free DLCs at that point. Just that many players would probably start complaining once PD starts charging for these stuff. The game was so lite on content when it was released it was borderline pathetic. Because of this lack of content everything new coming out should be free to it's players if they wanted it to become successful. That still doesn't mean everything has to be free especially when there is a sticking point on how much it will costs to get one of the games most popular tracks included.
I really don't see this being a problem once everyone understands this is the only way your going to get this track.
Once a full title comes out loaded with content like previous GT titles with thousands of cars and a many track location then people would be naive to think add on content will be still remain free.

Just quoting your post and I never said you thought the game should stop offering free DLC. Why is it so hard for people on here to have a conversation about this game without taking stuff so personal.
Yes people are going to complain when the DLC is no longer free and like I said those people are naive if they assume this day will never come to GTS or the next GT title.
I'm ready for that day to start now so I can get the content I want instead of it never being put in the game at all because they don't want to pass that cost on to us just because people will complain about it.

I thought Jimmy is a commentator, not an official spokesman.Jimmy Broadbent said on the live broadcast Spa is coming to the game soon in a future update.
At the end of the day these FIA World Tour events are to promote the game to the audience at home. The New York event where the track debuted was still less than a month ago.
I have a 150€ phone, a 300€ (now like 200€) PC, and I haven't bought a new game in a few months. I don't want paid DLCs.These same people who complain about paid DLC likely pay $100 per month for service on a $1000 IPhone that they will stand in line for 2 days to be the first one to have it. Go figure. I recieved GTS in Dec of 2017, I feel I have gotten far more than my money's worth of entertainment from it, PD owes me nothing other than improved game saves to promise that I dont end up with a corrupted save.
Unfortunately, not all people would see your point. If anything, these micro transactions aren't worth it if one doesn't tend to play the game with the content that much.Paid DLC would ruin Gran Turismo. This isn't EA or Activision it's Sony's flagship driving title. Paid DLC reminds me of the bums that beg for change at intersections. It's unbecoming and embarrassing.
