Some sort of Ford Focus until I work my way up to my own car. (2010 RS). Fingers crossed it's in :nervous:

If too expensive as a starter, I'll go for a cheap japanese until I can afford mine.

I think the majority of people who own a car that is likely to be in GT5 will buy their real life car. I'll be buying my real life car, a Renault Laguna Coupe GT 2.0 Turbo... That's if it's found it's way in to the game. If not I'll just have to plump for something cheap yet fast enough to win the lower class races.

I think it was a Civic in GT4, for the small amount of credits you get at the start it seems to be good value. If not that then some other hatch-back, GTi?

iirc there were no Soarers in the game. Just Lexus SC300s

God, can't believe I forgot to mention one of my favorite cars in my last post. If the SC300, SC400 and/or Soarers are in GT5 and can be afforded from the start, they will defenitely be my first car in the game.

Anything from japan that is FR or 4WD. Turbo would also be cool.

Started GT1 with a mk. III Supra, GT2 with the same car, GT3 with a Miata and GT4 with the HPA R32 Golf...

But not sure yet, I still want to see whats available.

With the inclusion of the Top Gear track it has got to be one of the reasonably priced cars if they are in the game?

Suzuki Liana
Chevrolet Laceti
Kia Cee'd

I'll most likely start the same way I have in all previous GT games, '90 RX7, and it looks to be premium. If we can't afford the premium cars at the first of the game, I will get a standard RX7. After about 2 hours of playing, I should have enough credits to get my real life car (new Challenger), so I will buy that and take it around the "Ring", and then get back to business winning races with my budget car.

A cheap 80’s Japanese car. Hopefully a 4th Gen Celica, as always.
Old RX-7's have also been great starters in GT1 & 2.

Hopefully some E30 series BMWs made it in in which case a 325 would be awesome.
Started GT4 with the 270R from license tests and the first car i bought was a gunmetal grey R32 GTR.
So if the BMW isnt in then I think the first car I will buy will be a skyline, preferably a R32 GTR if I can afford it.

Something cheap and rear-wheel drive.

GT1: R32 GTS-t Type S
GT2: Supra Twin-Turbo R
GT3: AE86; was uncompetitive, so I swapped it for an '89 MX-5.
GT4: R32 GTS-t Type M (second time around; can't remember what I started with on my first save)
GT5:P: DC5R

Judging by all of that, it'll probably be Japanese, depending on the price / performance / predicted upgradeability (the latter being where I stumbled with the '86).

Mine has always been a Honda since GT1. Cost is low and easy to tune to win a fair amount of starter races.

Easy :) will start with the classic AE86 (my what fun I had in that car in GT3) or a NB Miata (preferrably a 2002, 1,8 - my car in RL). 👍
