starting car?

It certainly will not be a Honda Integra - I'm a little sick of it after extensively using it in GT5 Prologue!

I'm going to try to pick a starting car which I haven't used in GT5 Prologue.

I'm thinking an NA Miata too, but with GT4 I was able to buy the tuned Golf from the Tuner Shops. Either the Miata or try to find a used Honda Civic. Either EG6 or EK9

In previous releases the best value for credits always seemed to be a Japanese car (for me at least). So, I'll probably do the same this time around.

No it's not wrong at all, but some people would prefer to start off fresh and work there way up in the world

I believe that you can't use Prologue cars in GT mode, only arcade mode.

I may be wrong and if so i am sorry for the misinformation.

I personally will look for an Alfa.

GT2: Mitsubishi Eclipse
GT3: ?? I'll swear it was an NA MR2.
GT4: 86' MR2.

I'd gladly take any of those again, but will fall back on the Miata if need be.

I have a feeling gt life may start with karts as someone mentioned a few pages back. but if not I would pick up a 1st gen Rx7 if available. If its not available then i'll just shop around for a used japanese FR car. I really enjoy shopping around for the first car now that I think about it.

1991 Honda Prelude Si VTEC in Brittany Blue Green Metallic or a 1991 CIVIC SiR-II (EG) in Tahitian Green Pearl.

The '91 Prelude was my first car in the original GT, I may be tempted to revisit that for old times' sake. Can't remember what I started the other three games with, probably a '90ish Supra and an AE86 in there somewhere.

Reading of some people's first GT4 cars, I realise I'd forgotten how much variety there was in the car choices. Loved the Triumph Spitfire suggestion, I could definitely go for something like that if we have the option.

I want a Ferrari....but that ain't gonna happen till later, but something European or American. The Focus in GT5P was quite sporty...for a FF car (which I HATE).

If they have a '98 S10, maybe...that way I can race my truck without actually driving it lol.

If it's possible to go through License Trials first (like I have since GT when I was 8)... I'll grind to get a NA1 NSX-R first, then start career.

It depends for me, but will most likely german. First car in prologue was Mk. 5 GTI. Hopefully, I can get it again, or maybe an E36 M3(if its in).

You mean FC in GT1? The FB (such an awesome car) only showed up in GT2 .

I really hope PD releases info on how much Cr. a player starts with in the US, Euro and JP versions. As well full car list with pricing. That way we can already plan our first buys.

I think this time I will go with cheap FWD car, probably used Civic, or VW. I always picked and perfected RWD as first buy in GT4, so this time I will make a change.

10-4 5P cars are only transferable to Arcade mode!

So you Gun Jumpers will have to start with the 10-15k credits like the rest of us.

I do wonder if the preorder CE\SE\gamestop car packs will be Arcade only also...
