Also would love to see a poll addition to a car setup. RWD, AWD, FWD.

I think for me I would pick FWD for my first car in GT5.

Same as I have been doing since the original GT. A late 80s/early 90s Toyota Supra, given that we can still afford it in GT5, I don't know how the GT credit is doing in the money market anymore since we haven't had a game since 2004 :sly: Back in the late 90s you could purchase top-level cars for 500,000. It GT4 the money inflated so much that you could barely get a top-level car for less than 1,000,000!

Joking aside, I usually purchased this car (the used Supra) and then I would upgrade it with chips, mufflers, and then usually some weight reductions until I won better cars. Usually when I play GT I try to buy as few cars as possible and just use the cars that I win during races. I use the money from winnings just for upgrades, or to marvel at when I get over some many millions of credits.

Always start with an RX7, however this time I'll start out with an MX5 NB preferably or failing that an NA. I own both and cant wait to see how close they are to real life.

After creeping on these forums for some time, I finally registered. The car I hope to purchase first would be a MKIV Supra, if that isnt possible than some form of Acura Integra, the first car I ever owned. Im anxious to see how the Integra performa in-game :)

I've been thinking about this and I'm really not sure what I'll go with, I know it'll be something Japanese from the 90s.

GT2: FC3S
GT3: NA8C
GT4: CE9A

I can't remember exactly what I got in GT5P as it was only a rental way back, it might have been the Cappuccino. GTPSP I can't remember because I probably bought a few at once.

I'll be sticking with my trusty second gen RX7. Hasn't steered me wrong yet. Although if I can afford a nice Alfa Romeo I'll be seriously tempted...

I can't wait to shop around in the used car section! That was one of my favourite gt experiences and I'm glad its returning. I'll probably start off with a used skyline or ego.

On a side note... I really hope they have the rare cars that pop up in the used car dealerships from time to time. I loved that!

I will be starting off by collecting prize cars from the licenses.

Right now I am considering the 05 Legacy GT, since that is my IRL car. How far can it take me?

A Nissan Silvia, probably the S13. Otherwise, maybe a Honda Civic EG or a Mazda RX-7 FC3S.

i'm gonna pick the slowest car to start ... i like feeling the slower ones at first because as the game progresses, i rarely go back to them.

I started with a used JZA70 in GT1,2 and 4. I will probably follow suit, but tempted to go the AE86 route. It also very much depends on what premium models are available.

Maybe this time around the FD3S is cheap enough to buy from the start. I'm thinking mid-late 90's Type RZ.

Barring that, FC3S Savanna.

Same as i did with GT4, EG civic to do the sunday cup and FF championships in, then ill tweak it a bit, and then buy an silvia to complete FR, MR2 for MR and a subaru for 4WD, then itll really get interesting. I wont be using any GT5P cars at all

GT1: MA70 Supra
GT2: Mirage Cyborg R
GT3: AE86 Trueno
GT4: S13 K's (91)
GT5P: Focus ST
GT5: FC3S?
