I really want the 300ZX but if I can't afford it I'll just go through the license tests.

If you can't afford a 300ZX then prices definitely do not reflect real life in any way... but of course we know that already, the second hand cars have to be balanced based on their performance somewhat. I still think the 300ZX should be under 10k.

Oh yeah, if the 300ZX is available as starting car I'll surely get it. It's one of my favourite cars. <3

probably the suzuki cappuccino as usual. I go for all the lightweight stuff it will let me do before GT forces me into faster cars (I hope it doesn't do it at all this time around)

Hopefully there will also be ramping difficulty in the class too, instead of just being the 'easy races'. That's one thing I like about the PSP version. any car class, any difficulty, any race length.

Hopefully a miata or some type of mazda to re-live memories. In gt3 i started with a miata that I tuned about halfway and then when I passed all the races i went back to tuning it completely, never sold it, I never sell any of my cars in the game. Been tempted to, but never do. In GT4, though, I started with an FC rx-7 that went through the same process as the miata. I thik I will start with a miata this time or if I can't, I'd like to keep it Japanese and go with something like an AE86

Ah the Fairlady Z Twin Turbo. 1985-1995 was a great time for Japanese cars. Celica, CRX, GTO, STi, Evolution, MR2, Skyline, Supra, RX-7, MX-5, NSX, etc etc all the best cars ever, were made during those 10 years.

I'd like to start out with a muscle car but they will probably be too expensive at first so if I can't get one I'll shoot for a 240sx

For starting off I will most likely choose an American car. I'm guessing you
'll have to purchased a used one, so I'll just have to wait and see what is available.

My first one in GT4 was a 71' Dodge Charger. Hope in GT5 its the same.

That would be pretty cool:tup: Definitely some tuning opportunity on that one. If I can get I nice muscle car from the beginning, I may go that route as well.

This one is my dream starting car because it is my own humble vehicle.

I would settle happily for a standard Golf. I hope they have one and not just the GTI and R32.

It depends. My first cars in GT2 and GT4 were a Toyota Supra and MR2, respectively. I wouldn't mind continuing the trend.

AE86, most likely. Depending on the upgrades available, I might reconsider, though.

So far, Miatas have served me quite well, as have some Silvias, so I guess there'll be a car I'd like to start with ;)

Probably used Skyline. Nissan's was always good to tuning. Or Nissan Pulsar GTI 4x4 if there will be one cheap.

Would have to go AE86 just because i always have, Slow but fun and gives a good learning curve right from th word go.Slightly underpowered but makes you work tat bit harder then
