Have you seen the video yet?
There have been a lot of videos lately. I have avoided most of them because I want the game to be fresh when I get it. I did see a screen somewhere though that looked like the beginner events had pretty much the same content as GT4. I don't know if that was something in the final build or if from an earlier time but looked reasonable enough.

Fair enough,I won't spoil it for ya.I also kinda wished I hadn't looked at them now..👍

mine's in front. It would be blasphemous to start with anything else :sly:

complete the national licenses, then buy any evo i can afford. send it straight into the garage to have an oil change (if i have enough Cr left over).

Here are my top 5 starters:
1.2008 Honda civic type r
2.2006 Honda s2000
3.Mazda Rx8
4.Mazda eunos roadster
5.Hachiroku(if I can find one used)

Oooo anything japanese tbh. They are great cars aswell as cheap.

Maybe a mazda mx-5 mk1 or a silvia s13 or 80s-90s rx-7. Man, I need to get the game in my hands to check everything.

In GT5P I started with a Mazda RX-8, which proved to be a quite good choice. If there is enough cash to start with in GT5 I'll probably go for a BMW, though.. or a Volvo C30! ^^

A VW Polo GTI '01 (I drive one regulary) if it isn't to expensive!
Otherwice I will go for the 'safe' bet and sell the price car from the licence test (bronze) and buy me a Toyata Supra (don't know which one, but you have an idea what it will be!)
Reason for this is that GT4 I did the same and the VW Lupo was solled immediatly after winning it. With that I just had enough credits to affort a Supra and man that car was good (First I didn't even give it an oil change xD!)

I guess not a lot is known yet on the cars you need for the different licenses.

Generally I would buy the car you need in the licenses, like the Intgra R in GT5p.

Hopefully by this time a Silvia S15 Spec R is cheap enough to be a first car. If not, then Supra Mk III here I come.:)

well, with my car obviously! I don't mind it's a standard: 2002 Toyota Celica 2ZZGE. I'll just stick a cockpit picture on the lower side of my TV :)

Another 7th gen Celica owner on this site 👍. I'm with you. I'll definitely be saving up for this car at the very beginning of the game.
Looking at the white one in the standard car pictures in the news section... I don't think it looks too bad.

Yeah mate... 'cause life begins at 6200rpm :D
will still missing my cockpit though, but still... we will always have the REAL thing waiting for us in our garages 👍

Does anyone know the situation with transferring credits/cars from GT5P? That would weigh heavily on what my starting car is.
What about it. Are you going to be one of the stupid people who import tons of money and buys a million dollar car?

Sad, start by ruining the game..

I started off with the Suzuki Swift Sport in GT5P as it's the same car I drive in real life.
Would be interesting to see if the handling is more realistic with the GT5 physics engine...
Can't wait :)
