Prolly a R32 GTS-t type S if its available @ level 0.

Gun gray mettalic or dark mettalic blue are good options. Exactly the same car I used starting GT1, GT2, GT4. :)

If not. Peugeot 106 :)

I started off with the Kart. Only cost me 5k, even though you get one very quickly.
b license, bronze I think

I've just been doing special events. Haven't bought another car yet, I already have like 150k credits.

What will be the closest car to a Toyota Camry in the game??.

AA

best bet would be an early 90's fwd celica. they are basically the same platform and have the same 4cyl engine. I'm guessing you own a camry.

I own a truck so my dreams of driving it in gt are pretty much crushed except if they included a 1985 celica with the 4cyl. they it would atleast have the same motor.

I want to start out with the oldest civc. EA body style. don't have the game yet so i don't know if i can get it. if not 89 miata for sure.

Bought the kart, as there wasn't an EG SiR or '91 Prelude in the Used Cars dealership. Completed some License Tests and Special events. Got gifted the EG SiR did a handful of Beginner and Amateur races with prize cars. Am currently sitting on 470k credits, but still no sign of the Prelude. At this rate, I'll have saved up for a McLaren F1 before I get that damn thing. So much for my preferred starting car.

:grumpy:

So for so FANTASTIC!!!!! Oh lord...I can;t believe we are all playing GT5. Back on topic, the nuances of each car are so distinct. I started with the 97 type-r civic and have slowly progressed by putting an exhaust and intake and it sounds and runs great!! Totally differant than how they "felt" in previous GT's. Another fantastic little car to drive, is the 08 Civic Type-R...All i can say is. WOW..

My first car was a premium mx5 (I know, very obvious)

I completed as many races as I could then went and bought a used s2000. The thing is an animal, great fun to drive!

So far I'm loving the game, all the little bad parts aside, the force feedback, physics and the feeling you get from driving is excellent, which is the most important to me.

i started with a 1970s Golf MK 1 GTI 100bhp!

its amazing i can literally drive around all corners without having to brake and completely annihalate the opposition in the early cups.

I got the 97' CTR in white. Its brilliant, with a few cheap mods like sports cat, racing air filter, height adjustable shocks and a sports exhaust its almost at 200bhp/ton and I hardly spent anything!

Definately recomend getting that first. Its in the Honda dealership rather than used.

I don't have a starting car, just ones I got for free. Nothing official cause the random lot is the worst idea ever. Cannot find a good 20-40K car yet to buy like an SRT-4 and I have 400K (over) now. At some point cars of certain levels should stay unlocked. Heck, cars of certain cash should all unlock. No reason for cheap-o cars like the SRT-4 which is like 20K to not be here still.

Were there any American starter cars? I don't have the game yet so i wouldn't know.

Not new, but everyone gets a different used lot to start with. I was three grand away from a Camaro.

I started with a '97 Civic Type-R Premium in silver. I think it's really good first car.

I was so happy when I seen that I could afford an EK9 for my first car with 100cr to spare, thought I was going to have to resort to ol' faithful (Miata!) as a starter.

I haven't actually done any races yet, I'm picking up my wheel tomorrow and wanted to wait until then, but I gotta say, I just had so much fun reading the descriptions of the cars and doing the test drive with them.
