Wich should be the track for the last race?

Edit:
How do I tune the Cadi? I'm in a testing session at Okayama and the only option to adjust in my garage is tire pressure. Is that normal?

In the tuning section, you have 3 tabs on the lower part of the screen: Tires, chassis and transmission, or something like that. Clicking on any of those tabs will lead you to more tuning options

After what feels like a billion years of practice I finally got a best lap of 1:29.933 at Okayama.

Driving this car is extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemely frustrating for me. I'm so inconsistent in it it's retarded. My best lap is over a second off my optimal (1:28.793). I feel like I can barely see out the car (75 degree FOV) and there is an elephant on the roof. I have little experience in heavy cars and have a lot of trouble getting it to turn in when and how I want it to.

I'll have to watch some laps of fast guys to see what they are doing in the corners.

Bottom of the garage screen has the tabs for everything else.

Edit: Tree'd on the next page.

Thanks guys.
I've been running the Cadi on 90 L of fuel the entire time, which is probably more than we're going to need for any of the races.

I am also having a difficult time getting consistent laps near my optimal time. I am having the hardest time getting the optimal throttle coming out of the corners. Too little and I am losing time, too much and I am wasting time with wheelspin and a busy steering wheel. Anyone have a mod for a progressive accelerator pedal?💡

Lol, Joshua, I was having the same issue with the tuning.

Doh!?! So many things I still have to learn about this sim. Just when I think I am starting to understand how stuff works...

Thanks guys.

Hmm, wonder if I have been doing the same.

As for the practice race tomorrow. My wife and I are having some people over to the house, so I won't be able to make it. Thanks for setting it up though.. Hopefully I can make the next one.

Red, the race is tonight...

So... That went really wel...

Lol! Eventhough I noobed it I had a blast guys! Looking forward to the season opener!

BTW the official dates are posted!

Great:(. Unless they are in the evening EST. I will only be able to make the 27th and TBD rounds due to my freaking job!

I noticed the hosted season llike 30 mins or so before it ended. I never did have time to practice Mosport tho... That's rough Jav! I've done that a few times too at Mosport during practice

Ok cool, so the dates are up.

Now I'm starting my Sunday CALM series on the 27th of May, the races are on Sunday around 19;00 GMT so until I see your exact times, I'll just assume the times conflict on Sunday so with that I can make the first round, third, fourth (The 3 hours of Le Mans race is on a Saturday) and fifth. btw, is that an error on the last "TBD" round? Says race is on the 27th of June, but that's a Wednesday, meant the 24th? If so, and again assuming the race time you decide on conflicts with my scheduled time between 19:00 to 22:00 GMT, I'll not make the last round.

So yeah, 4 out of 6 isn't bad, dropped rounds?

We could do 1 drop race... let's see what everyone thinks of it, I'm ok with the idea!

Jav
Lol! In my defense I was following MadRR!!! Lol!

Yeah yeah blame it all on me . Don't feel too bad though I did the same thing in the same corner on lap 11 with a 25 second lead :grumpy:. Oh well just a fun race. Thanks to all that showed up to race. Wish it could have been a better race.

I see the dates are posted and it looks like we will be racing on Sunday's. Have we got a set time yet? Also I've been meaning to ask. Jav, how do you plan on keeping up with the points and stuff? Are you planning on doing it manually? If so I would look into using the danlisa scoring system if you haven't already. It's just for iracing leagues to keep up with points and scoring and it's free to use. It's what every iracing league I've been in has used. Check it out at http://www.danlisa.com/scoring/index.php.

I'm down with having a drop week. I think if we are only doing 6 races then we should only have 1 drop week.

Thanks for hosting the race.👍

I had some strange connection issues when first joining the session. When I was doing practice laps the screen would flash on and off at times, and I would get a loud audio pop thru the speakers. Other cars would suddenly appear out of nowhere, really strange. Never experienced that before in iRacing. After rebooting the computer and rejoining everything was back to normal.

Qualified 4th with a 1'20.2xx, which I was fairly happy with using my WIP tune.

Standing starts can be a bit tricky, as the guy in front of me on the grid found out. Not sure you that was, but he applied too much throttle at the green flag, spun out and hit the front of my car. Had too much damage to continue, so decided to call it a day. Race over after 100ft past the start line. Just a fun race so no big deal.

It was nice to meet you guys, and I'm looking forward to the start of the series.👍

Guys I'm going to bail on the series as I'm going to try and put some decent effort towards GT Academy. My talent only lets me focus on one or the other, mixing sims makes it tough to be ultra competitive in either.

Best of luck with the series and I know that once the Academy is over I'll be back at iRacing full time. :)

Just looking at the schedule and I'll be missing Summit Point and Lime Rock. Probably the only two road tracks I know the best. Haha.

Oh well, I'll be there to prop up the leader board. :)

I was planning on letting the sim do all the work, I'll definitely take a closer look at that system.

I am gunning for Nastra to win this as it appears no other Skip driver is here.

Show em the Skip skills!

LOL. Thanks for your vote of confidence, but I wouldn't bet my life savings on me placing in the top three. I have decent speed in the Skip. Unfortunately, the Cadi drives nothing like the Skip. I'm still trying to figure out how to get a heavy, understeering car around a track quickly. There is still a few weeks until the first race so maybe it will click by then. I think guys with experience in the Falcon, GT, C6, or Mustang will dominate this series. I'll still be putting in my best effort though. 👍
