A premum Microbus, a premium Thing, a premuim WWII amphibious car, a premium Fiat 500, WHY? What's the point? That's a waste of valuable time and money that could have been used to do something better like a Veyron, Countach, XFR or even a Pontiac Firebird. And there are more Nissans than there are American cars in general! Totally imbalanced! Espeically since a good portion of them are Skylines, the most played out car in the universe

Seriously, why have that many Skylines, that many Silvias, that many RX7s, that many Miatas, etc etc etc etc etc, when there are no Firebirds, only four modern and three classic Camaros (one of which is redundant), and four Mustangs (one of which is basically a dupe, none of which is an 03-04 Cobra) plus the Trans-Cammer and GT350. Mopar muscle is similarly lacking.
Speaking of useless ancient VWs, the beginner TG challenge is awful! There's no way to win with a dualshock - you're too evenly matched, there's not enough laps, they hold you up at every opportunity and will push you sideways until you're both stopped if you don't realize they're there! AAAAAAAH!
Plus, despite the assurances we're getting a finished game, GT5 feels like a half-completed patchwork of shiny new features for Sony to show off. Why do we need:
Full B-spec integration
Celebrity-backed "special events"
Nascar
GO KARTING!?
DRIFTING!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
3D compatibility
Support for PSP-PS3 connectivity
when we're stuck with:
Tons of GT4 environments missing
Less than 20% of the cars modeled at full detail
Awful shadows
Not many tracks with dynamic weather or time, and more than a few with no pits (e.g. London, SSR7)
Only 7 course maker themes
Very very little customization
Very very very few events (especially endurance events)
No livery editor
And no ability to use generated tracks online
Oh, and I almost forgot the lack of a machine test
Get the core of the game straight before you start trying to add auxillary features. I'm glad for DLC or we'd be out of luck.
