Just remember there are more silent companies than PD when it comes to communication or drip teasing new content for a certain game *cough* Rockstar *cough*, PD are much better at comms than Rockstar have been in recent times, at least I know roughly what to expect when it comes
to GT Sport.

Its a shame the update had not arrived, there's always next month haha. PD has definitely made it more enjoyable to play anyhow, hence the content thats come through so far.

what do you mean, 'the update'? There was never confirmation of such an update and 20+ pages of nonsense never confirmed that.

What I meant was I thought an update would arrive in regards to circuit experience for le mans and a couple of extra GT League cups. To just clarify, I wasn't getting high expectations of cars and a track. PD can just take their time on all those cars and tracks.
 
It’s still June yet, let’s wait to complain we aren’t getting one in July at least. It doesn’t look promising though!

If we were getting an update tomorrow we would have had a maintenance notice now. So we wait to see what happens next month.

Meanwhile, I'm selecting random cars using the Kudosprime website and running top speed tests at Circuit de la Sarthe. I have another 200+ cars to get through while I wait...
 
Why do so many people assume that others are assuming?

PD clearly states at the bottom of a News Information release: Regular updates will be released throughout 2018 and approximately 50 cars will be added until March 2018.

Breaking down that statement:

The "and" distinguishes everything after is separate, so not specifically referring to the released plans that go until March.

Definition of regular: arranged in or constituting a constant or definite pattern, especially with the same space between individual instances.

Definition of throughout: from beginning to end of (an event or period of time).

Me too. I'm going through all the ones released in the past months: bought the R8, Time Attack WRX, FD 86 and the Megane Trophy in the last days and I plan to buy a few more tomorrow. Without an update in sight, I can happily burn my credits now :lol:

True, yesterday I bought 4 new Gr.4 cars, because it looks like we will have plenty of time to fill up the GT S account with credits before the next update :O :lol:.

Edit.

And I just bought 3 more, Hyundai Genesis Gr.4, Mitsubishi Lancer EVO Final Edition Gr.4 and the Subaru WRX Gr.4 :D.

why are all these people asking for a new update? this game is perfect, it was perfect and it will be perfect. don't ask for more, just let Kaz enjoy our money

Be what guy, the guy who talks sense? Never expect anything just because you base it upon a previous experience. These stupid threads just feed stuff like that. Expectation, entitlement and why? Because you got hyped up by a thread that was originally intended as a piss take and it seems everyone fell into the trap.

Future advice: start talking about content and get hyped when theres an actual official statement about an update.
 
Perhaps designating one master speculation thread pinned to the front page would be best. We truly are seeing a lot of topic redundancies. It's going to be discussed one way or another, so there's no use asking people to stop. May as well just dedicate one megathread to it. That's a pretty good compromise.
 
Rather than a content update, I really wish it were improvements to penalties, emphasis on clean driving (ahem trophies), updates to poor handling cars (road cars with no downforce, RSO1 on hairpins etc) and a shake up of BoP and things like that. And where’s that new physics model already?

Piss take? No, really not. I'm relaxed about content coming as it comes :)

People are going to speculate regardless, and others are going to knock speculation regardless. It's better that that goes in here rather than mixed into the general discussion thread. Some of it has been entertaining, but not the arguments between the two.

No. Any previous speculation threads have by now fallen many pages into the depths of this sub-forum, as this one will in the near future. They aren't bothering anyone. Megathreads suck and you know it.
