Be what guy, the guy who talks sense? Never expect anything just because you base it upon a previous experience. These stupid threads just feed stuff like that. Expectation, entitlement and why? Because you got hyped up by a thread that was originally intended as a piss take and it seems everyone fell into the trap.

Future advice: start talking about content and get hyped when theres an actual official statement about an update.
They did release an official statement about updates. Click here, because scrolling up is too difficult.

Buzzkills who offer nothing to a fun discussion: 1

Want to place a wager on who will win for the year?

No. Any previous speculation threads have by now fallen many pages into the depths of this sub-forum, as this one will in the near future. They aren't bothering anyone. Megathreads suck and you know it.

Actually, megathreads don't suck - especially if they're pinned to the front page. They can be useful and help curb topic redundancies.

Oh come one...Of course I'm gonna base my hope about past experiences. If you never take into consideration your past experiences, there's certainly a problem somewhere. I said don't be that guy about the fact that you take those things way too seriously. If you don't want to read about things like that go somewhere else. This is a thread about a possible update in a video game. There's propably a forum about GTA 6 right now. Do we have any announcement about that game right now? No. Everything is based arround hope and past experiences.

Yes. And in that post you quote it says REGULAR. There is NOTHING specifically GAURANTEEING MONTHLY CONTENT. Stop being an entitled assumptive millenial. Its people like you who are ruining the gaming industry. You and your microtransaction whale friends. So please go away. Most here won't miss you.

One thread per hoped-for update is not "topic redundancy".

With no "June" update in sight this thread will likely get a name change (once I can decide what). But once the next update lands this thread will die, and another will take its place - someone will do it.

I included the definition of regular, but I guess definitions don't matter if they don't back up your argument.

Why do you assume I'm a millennial? Show me where you got this information like I showed where they stated about updates.

What assumptions have I made? I'm asking all these questions because your post is entirely assumptive, so I am wondering if you have any sources or evidence. Maybe I will change my mind with a decent argument.

What part of people posting on a forum ruins the gaming industry?

I just ignore topics that are of no interest to to me. The thread title is:

The "June" Update speculation, wishlist and conspiracy theory thread

So why do you expect anyone here to be discussing things that are specifically guaranteed?

And who said I have friends?

It’s not limited to one thread, though. Take a gander at the main GTS forum and you’ll see other threads focusing on car wishlists, rumored cars/tracks, and theories - topics not unlike the ones that are already discussed in here. I’m not exactly wrong in offering up this suggestion since it’s based on recent observations. But don’t worry, as I’m sure it won’t actually go into practice. After all, it might only bother a few people.

Expect july a bigger update
Or expect a even bigger disappointment if there is no july update .

Very true indeed, I fell in this trap because of this thread and I got hyped up and now i'm a bit like this :( even with no promise of a update this month, if I can help it, I will try to stay away from the next speculation thread :O .

I don't want to believe it but i have a fear that we might see GT6's broken promises, like the "monthly dlc cars" if i remember correctly! I think that this might happen again & just keep most new content for the next game :( it is known how PD changes decisions like "standard cars are here to stay" & then decides to take them out which i 'm not saying is a bad thing but i just piont out how easy their plans are changing! Let's hope that is not going to happen though!

what broken promise?

They have yet to break a promise. The only 'promise' that I know of that they have yet to complete is the vague 'promise' about '500 cars' in the lifetime of the game, but it hasn't even been a year since the game was released

Not giving you a 'June Update' that they never promised doesn't mean they are going to be breaking promises???

Hopefully there will be more than 500 cars in sport, but I'm not holding my breath.

I don't see "lots". There's one there that got locked, judged duplicate/redundant I guess - I'm happy to just let the mods decide.

I'm feeling bad for this....... We need new cars but Kaz still don't tweet yet.....

“Regular” doesn’t necessarily mean a set schedule at static intervals, it can just as well mean content will be added frequently.

Do you really think support for GTS is just gonna stop because there was no major update in June? We know at least three SEMA cars, a drift car, and Deep Forest are supposed to be added at some point. There has been no set schedule beyond March, only that 4-500 cars are planned by the end of GTS’s life which hasn’t even been set yet. It was never stated that there would be major content every single month.

Only thing I feel bad about, is after 20 years of GT, I owned a Mirage Hatch and now an EK Civic, they're both not in this game. Yet. :sly:

The point is,sport needs more cars than 500. I'm sure gt7 will have a lot more to offer.

"Regular" literally by definition does, but I understand what you are saying.

Honestly, I wouldn't expect PD to send out updates like clockwork. Games get delayed, bugs come up, things happen, no big deal. Keep it in the spirit of the thread title and have fun. Not everything has to be serious. I don't understand why anyone would get upset, start calling names, etc. For anyone getting upset, go back and read the original post.

Now they can switch to early month update instead of last week of the month
