? :D.

DAMN,for a moment i thought it was a hint at Drag Races in GT Sport

Yes.

Mike is a top rated, not very well known driver who ran on the mountain this year in a Cayman GT4 Cup car.
So he could've played on a demo build of the course?

His comment reads like he saw the news of PD supposedly having exclusive rights and is just relaying that. People really should stop reading so deep into things.

Don't believe so.

I did say take it how you want. So have at it.

And/or is guessing based on the windshield banners. Which means...

Drink!

Can’t imagine there’s much difference, more about the livery I suppose. Toyota seem to have pretty positive relationship with PDI so I imagine they’re keen to feature Japan’s newest Le Mans winner. PDI must be pretty proud, been a long time since ‘91.
Perhaps. And keeping in with the theme the Mazda 787B is sure to return to the roster.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the GT-R50 concept came along too.

That's a good addition for next year's Nürburgring 24 hr.

I don’t want to make my post sound like a wishlist.

But watching the Austrian GP the other day reminded me of just how good of a track Red Bull Ring was to drive around in GT6.

Very beautiful track (PD always does a fantastic job with distant scenery such as mountains in the background. This may also be down to the focal length they use versus Forza. Keeps more of the background “in view” so to speak) that was also very technical while being short enough to learn quickly. Mastering it though..

Then this reminded me of Spa, Silverstone, Fuji, and a couple other real life tracks.

As much as I love the PD classics (especially some of those beauties from GT4) this game clearly is centered in realism.

I think the game could REALLY benefit from these additions. The fact that so many of them were new additions to GT5/6 gives me hope that it will be a similar case to Monza and Le Mans.

I would more than be willing to pay up to, maybe, $20 for 5 GOOD real world tracks. Especially since Silverstone, Austria, etc have multiple layouts. I think it could cater very well to the different groups.

The Group 1, 2 and 3 cars could take the big tracks, the group 4 cars could alternate between the large and smaller layouts, and the short layouts could be used for the daily spec races with slower cars. This is generally how these tracks are paired with the game’s respective real world car counterparts as well.

What's different about the TS050 that won Le Mans compared to one we have in game? Besides the TS050 getting a seventh gear at Le Mans. The 787B is a likely addition down the line though.
In terms of what would apply to the game, the 2018 car is more efficient and as you said it would have a 7-speed gearbox. It is comfortably quicker as a package than the rushed 2016 car.

There are many more differences in reality but they are aimed at improving reliability primarily.

Well, that's one of PD's mysteries. FIA licence and pretty much all manufacturer's cars. "Sport" as a game:

Brands Hatch
Mount Panorama
Monza
Suzuka
Interlagos
NurbGP
Nurb24

The game is fine with these tracks to start with. From here, a monthly real circuit expansion, is all this game needs.

I'd delete Willow Springs and Tsukuba if that meant replacing them with FIA certified GT3/4 Series circuits.

Can we have Deep Forest back please? (I don't know if it's possible due to FIA Licences)

someone guessing something isn't news.
Only thing I can think of, is when the Drifter revealed his car was coming to Gran Turismo. Then again, I don't think we knew the STI TT car was coming.

Didn't they say it was in the pipeline?

And it would be cool to have the Le Mans winning TS050 because Le Mans winner. Though I don't know how better it would be in game other than having a seventh gear to fool around with which the TS050 has always had at Le Mans anyway.

I’d bet good money we’ll see the Red Bull Ring added within the next 12 months. Such a great circuit with excellent flow and a fantastic backdrop. Imagine sunset here on GTS, man that would be epic!

Way I see it, these are the most probable additions for future track updates:

Imminent Additions (within the next 6 months):
- Spa
- Silverstone

I keep mentioning the above but they’re essential circuits to any contemporary racing game. Forza, Assetto Corsa and Project Cars all feature both. Both are prominent, historic circuits on the F1 and WEC calendars too. I’m just astounded we’re into July now and they’ve still yet to be added. I’m confident given there appearance last gen that it’s just a matter of time really.

Within the next year?
- Laguna Seca
- Fuji Speedway
- Motegi
- Red Bull Ring

All of the above are exiting real world circuits featured in last gen titles. Given the focus on real world locations for GTS these would prove an ideal starting point for future content.

The distant future?
- Deep Forest
- Monaco (Cote D’Azur)

Agree with the comments about Monaco. Whilst I personal love it purely from a visual and vibey point of few, I don’t think it’s an appropriate addition for GTS when examined from an Esports point of view (can you imagine the penalties?). Besides real world races are pretty dull here anyway.

Deep Forrest on the other hand I’m not so sure about. For me GTS comes across as a break with the past, hence the vast amount of new original tracks whilst abandoning past works. If it does get added then it bodes well for Trial Mountain and Grand Valley, seeing as they form the “holy trinity” of PS1 era GT circuits.
