yep i have now looked it up. It was on the cover for the NTSC version. I am in the UK so have the pal version
This.
Adjusted for inflation as of 2009 the F40 would cost (MSRP) $761.725.35
The McLaren F1 would cost $1,495,652.89 as of 2009, again, with the MSRP. Neither of these take various options into account.
Don't they go used for over a million? PD has done ballpark used prices for previous classic cars in the game when bought new, so I'd be surprised if it was under a million.
Most McLarens aren't very high mileage (or get "re-freshed" by McLaren), so they do tend to sell at around $2 million+.Don't they go used for over a million? PD has done ballpark used prices for previous classic cars in the game when bought new, so I'd be surprised if it was under a million.
That's a website that claims to know which ones are for sale, but they are old photos. Here is a link to a company that has a few of them for sale. they have the normal F1 cars, the LM converted cars and one long tail car

The model of the car in the picture is the XP1 LM which is the car McLaren have sat on display at the HQ
From GT PSP, right? What did the Veyron cost?
A tad off topic again, but what did the ZR1 cost?
No they wern't. Why did that classic Skyline cost 420,000Cr which is more than most of the supercars let alone just cas faster than it? Why did the TVR Speed 12 cost less than 200,000Cr but the Jaguar XJ220 over 700,000Cr? Prices in GT games have always to a degree, treid to reflect a real world economy. That doesn't mean that they price the cars to exacltey what they are in real life, but they try imitate the real prcing market. Cars like the Caterham are fast as stink on a track, but they're significantly cheaper than cars half as fast as them beacuse they don't use exotic parts, they are cheap to build and a relatively low prestige brand.in gt4 car prices were based on performance not mileage or rarity
They're displaying a tiny die cast model at the HQ?
Which means that "prices in GT games have always to a degree, tried to reflect a real world economy."^ Because certain cars are considered lengendary which means they cost alot more money.
For those who are interested, here's a video of the F1 at Suzuka during the 1996 JGTC season.

How about the muscle cars in GT4? I don't remember the costs, but it wasn't that much, was it? I mean, a completely original, matching numbers '71 Hemi Cuda in perfect condition would be worth $1,000,000+ in real life...
Yes, the muscle cars were under 100,000 if I recall correctly.

Wow, that's Ralf Schumacher at the end of that Suzuka race at 2:00. No idea he was in JGTC...
He only raced the 1996 season, he won 3/6 of the races he was in.
