Perhaps you may want to read my post again.
I never said Eden was Japanese. I said they were one of the few companies who have already spent time with the MP4-12C. Read.
Kaz has said a million times already, no DLC in GT5, so either it's in at release, or later on in an update, or not tat all.
Something random I thought of, is that if there is a team of twenty people working on one car, it would take a little less than 10 days to model one car. Multiply that by 1,000 (amount of cars), and you would get 10,000 days to make 1,000 cars. That would be 27.4 years. I would think that maybe they have 10 teams to make cars. That would make 2.4 years to model 1,000 cars! Even if my figures are off, that is a reasonable amount of time to make 1,000 cars with the quality of PD
EDIT: Slight mistake... 20x10 would be 200! Change it to 5 teams, and you still have 4.8 years... That hasn't been that long past that!
It takes a single person 6 months.
Think for yourself, 1000 cars, 6 months each... wouldnt work right?
Remember that a substantial proportion of the cars in GT are visually identical or have minor body differences. For example, they count several different kinds of R33 GTR as unique, when visually all that's unique is maybe the paint scheme. And the visual differences between a R33 GTR and a normal R33 are not large.
I doubt they've had to model more than 800 unique cars.

Actually, if you go by the context of the interview, he never said exactly what you're saying. It's more along the lines of no DLC for a while after release. Plus we already know that the 2009 SEMA GT contest winner's 1970 Mustang will be a DLC car so.....
So only games with this car confirmed are
GT5
TDU 2
Forza 3
His point was that you should have used this thread instead of starting a new one.In response to post 2:
My point wasnt that those cars will make it in the game. It's that the Polyphony crew was at Mclaren HQ TODAY, scanning and taking pics.
If the game is near completion, I do not see this as a good sign.
...the looks really grows on you the best colour by far is the orange and i hate it in red
By the way Shoreham is near Brighton in sussex

Unfortunately it's not Kaz that always has the decision.
Fortunately, as the Gran Turismo series is in concern, ONLY Kazunori Yamauchi has the decision regarding anything. Always. And thank God for that.
Of course GT5 has no DLC, it hasn't even released yet. Besides, doesn't "later on in an update" constitute content that has been downloaded?Kaz has said a million times already, no DLC in GT5, so either it's in at release, or later on in an update, or not tat all.
The MP4-12C should, in no way, be DLC. There's plenty of time to model it. I just hope that it was in the agreement along with the famous F1.
The more, the merrier.
As long as DLC is free, i wouldn't mind some models turning up slightly later.
We'll have plenty of other cars to keep us busy, would be nice actually to be offered new cars once in a while with all sorts of possible surprises like some old McLaren F1 cars, etc.![]()
Yea, after at least 4 months. Kaz has said though the game will be full and complete when the game arrives. So I assume any car he CAN had now, will be added before it is released to us.
I admire and respect Kaz for many reasons, always predicting exactly what will eventually happen or will be included in the final game unfortunately isn't one of them.![]()
Believe.
