I just read that XP5 prototype F1 reach 244.5 mph in 1998 (driver Andy Wallace) without a rev limiter. Also it can go even faster with 7-speed gearbox...OMG what a car!!! :)

My all-time favorite car. I'm still waiting for the 1995 Le Mans DVD or blu-ray video to come out.

What do you guys reckon the chances of this being included are?

I notice that the MP4-12C is going to feature in Test Drive Unlimited 2...

I wonder what the chances are that this is one of GT5's unannounced premium cars?

Hopefully very likerly as it is in NFS as well, so im sure we will see the mp4-12c as I have seen it being built and I fell in love with it.

I hope they include all the Formula cars from GT3. I would rather drive those than the F2007.

Oh no, not the cars from GT3, I mean the real things.

I'm guessing that tobacco advertising isn't allowed then?

Remember the Delta S4 rally car in GT4? It originally had Martini sponsored livery which was reduced to some white blocks.
Tobacco sponsorship in a game also suitable for children is a no no, but there are ways around it.
Nowadays it isn't allowed in F1 anymore but there was a transition period when it was allowed in some countries whilst in others it wasn't.
I remember an F1 team ( McLaren? ) which at one point was sponsored by West ( cigarettes ) which they creatively changed to East in those races where it wasn't allowed.

If you had a livery editor, job done.

And don't forget the white lines of ferrari instead of malboro! Which.. this year were also banned and now there is a white square =/

slim considering it has tobacco advertising on it.

Didn't stop the Jaguar XJR-9 plastered with Silk Cut sponsorship getting in GT4 did it? They just barcode it up or blank it out.

Yeah but PD didn't have the proper licences for the cars, so they wouldn't be as realistic.

Maybe they deemed the Silk Cut colours on the XJR-9 as less obvious than the fag packet design? The old Mclaren is blatantly Marlboro inspired though!? ... pass tbf

After that dodgy barcode debacle even that's gone now!

I don't really care about tobacco ads on any race car. Deleted from the game just cause of tobacco ads on the side? TobaccNO! Just gimme the car, tobacco ads and all. I probably won't notice.

If you noticed, that car he pictured doesn't have tobacco advertising on it. Not even the subliminal bar code. It would be fair game for GT5, but I wouldn't expect it.

Hi guys there was some debate about the Mclaren F1'a air brake so this video should put that to rest .

Awesome, that looks great. The F1 model just looks fantastic, especially up close like in this video. Can't wait to get one in GT5...

👍 There was never any doubt in my mind.

I mean, a few cars in GT4 had active spoilers/airbrakes (Including the Mclaren-Mercedes SLR). If those cars are standard for GT5, why would such a historic car like the F1, which is a premium car, have no airbrake?

Awesome, and well spotted since the air-brake on the F1 is barely visible. 👍

Also, I like the sense of speed in Madrid, looks like you're really rushing into the streets at fantastic speeds, I can't wait to drive in it. :D

What car is chasing the Mclaren? Seems like a small nose.

Ferrari F1 car I'm guessing. The car is clearly a lot faster than the Mclaren F1 and I don't think there is much that would be able to out accelerate the F1 so easily.

Are you kidding me? It's obviously the Enzo Ferrari. Besides the Ferrari F1 car wasn't even in the E3 demo.

I don't remember seeing a close up of the nose like that on the F1 car in Prologue. I am thinking it is the Enzo as well but shouldn't we be able to see the fenders?
