Darin posted on YT that Shaun disappeared out of the blue without telling him and he took alot of stuff he shouldnt of.

If that's the case, Shaun should tell the rest of the story. Perhaps there's a more personal reason he split from Darin to do pretty much similar shows. But we can't assume such things

Had he been up front with me and done it professionally, I would have supported his venture. Had he come here to say goodbye to all of you, the fans of our show, I may be supportive as well. I considered him one of my best friends, ever. I never thought he would do what he did, but I guess sometimes you don't know what people are capable of or what drives them to do certain things.«...»

where does it say Shaun stealed from him? can you do a cote? or you just like to stir **** up

Yes, people who feel hard done by are never inclined to exaggerate to make their point seem more justified.

Until I heard the other side of the story, I'd take anything Darin accuses Shaun of with a big grain of salt. Sour grapes make people do all sorts of things.

Reading over that thread, it seems that Darin has a huge grudge against Shaun now. It really is odd why they split the way they did, but Darin doesn't want to talk about it anymore. Shaun's side of the story is still open, though I doubt he'll tolerate people asking. And maybe we shouldn't stick our noses in either

Thats what people that make false claims usually do when they realise the legal implications of their actions...

But what bothers me is the fact that the thread is about a new sim racing show that I have interest in and suddenly its been turned into a Big Brother show I could care less about...

Not if you use a shifter properly, pushing it back&forth and left&right. Normally you wouldn't twist the lever at all. Hence I don't notice it and Shaun doesn't either.

This shifter is better constructed than the TH8 inside and I don't see anything that could die on you inside either. 3 micro-switches and 1 potmeter. Easy to replace/fix.


Anyways, nice to see my comment in Shaun's video. ^_^
I hope he will make a video as per my request about replacing the T500 fan after warranty. I am sure T500 owners will appreciate it.

So...after watching the OP, I understand why Shaun was usually the one to do the technical stuff.

As for the drama at ISR, one party publicly aired dirty laundry on the www, and then removed it...
...while the other remained silent.
One of the two has also been involved in more than one public controversy or spat on www.

Anyway, I am glad to see Shaun up and running, and his always sunny disposition seems intact. 👍

Bavarian Co. must be pushing the CSS hard. Simpit, ISR & Sim Racing Review all reviewing.
I do like that on-the-fly change to sequential mode, thats great.
