I mentioned this earlier today before the thread went crazy, but I've seen that picture for a couple of months now and I just realized today it is already a spin on an established meme. A really subtle, really clever spin on it.I think that last box could be used for some awesome memes(kind of evil sisters from P&S):

I actually learned a new word when I read that scene (illeism). Had to look it up and everything. I can tell you right now that that doesn't happen very often. As for part 10, it's interesting to see Trixie feeling insecure whist explaining the terms of her roadshow to Twilight. She even referred to herself in the first-person because she was nervous about the possibility of Twilight not liking her show.
And,before going to sleep,I just got engaged with this flash sounds compilation (pretty sure that were posted before),also, keep pressing the first Rarity button, sounds kind of (*puts sunglasses on*) Dirty.
Oh internet you are corrupting me again.
The Elements didn't fail because of any one character. They failed because all of the Mane Six's Elements were not interpreted correctly by their bearers.
Captain Dash seeing the writing on the wall, and who carried an interpretation of Loyalty to sell out her friends with the hope of protecting them with her position in the Shadowbolts. Rarity being generous to the point of causing problems for everypony by not recognizing her limits. Applejack being honest but caring more about the well-being of her friends than about the actual truth. Fluttershy killing animals to carry the sins for the entirety of New Ponyville, with her taking on that burden being how she displays kindness. Pinkie Pie looking on the bright side of things to the extent that she becomes disillusioned with reality. And Twilight, whose unshaken belief in her friend's ties to their Elements was brutally subverted to not be the reality of the situation; and who despite doing nothing wrong was cruelly was dealt the heaviest price as a result.
Same here.I actually interpreted The Captain's reasons that way from the moment I knew who she was.
As soon as Applejack started trying to stop them from leaving, I knew she was hiding something. AJ is stubborn, but she's not stupid, I just knew there had to be a reason for how much she wanted to stay in New Ponyville. The idea that she was lying about the resistance was something I was almost certain of, but I just couldn't let myself believe it. Even though I knew that was the reason, I just kept telling myself that there was something else, but I was wrong.
Also, dammitLeeroyRainbow Dash. I always knew she was somewhat reckless, but now she's just being stupid. The fact she actually shook off the idea of thinking things through just kind of annoyed me.
But there's one thing I'm especially eager to find out involving RD's attack. How will she react when she see's the Captain being held? Will she try to call off the attack to asses the situation? Will she try to free the Captain to get answers out of her? I just have so many questions about that one subject buzzing through my head right now.
EDIT: New idea I had about the plot of TNTNE
Where did Fluttershy show hate? She obviously still loved the animals, but she did what needed to be done to survive.
I mean, they're all still alive, and the normal universe Rainbow Dash still has her element.
So if me and Toro are wrong, and it really was only RD who was at fault, that would solve the original problem of Dash being responsible for the elements failing.
Couldn't help but chuckle at this.

Actually, I think her plan is strategically sound......in theory it seems perfectly viable and it will likely do a lot of damage before it does fail.
It won't be enough, but Super Bitch won't achieve anything near the victory she is expecting. Calling it now.
That, I have no idea. There are a thousand possibilities towards what will happen there, and I can't even begin to make a guess about it. I also really want to know how Super Bitch will react when she runs into Dash. That could very well be the lone catalyst that ruins everyone's day.
Yeah, I know, that was actually just a slightly edited copy/paste of a comment I made in response to someone on ED, I just forgot to remove that part. Its not about the elements failing because they were defied.
There is a big "if" there, though. What if Dash, after exposure to the horrible things of this world, no longer can connect with the power of the Element? She's already shown signs of cracking several times, most notably when she confronted Captain Dash prior to releasing her.
For that matter, what if the Element bearers in this world can't reconnect with their elements? As depressing as that may be, it is also a possibility.
I should have mentioned that I finished reading part 13 of TNTNE about 2 hours ago, but I'm not up for discussing it right now as I require sleep.
Also, this is now my desktop background:

The attack plan itself all that bad to me, but if an enemy is taunting you, it's almost a sure sign they want you to make the first move. Trixie basically just trolled RD into attacking, even if that wasn't her intention.
Well Super Bitch is already aware of Rainbow Dash's existence. So I might just be missing something, but I'm not really sure how that could make things much worse than they already are.
Yeah, I caught that soon after when I went to check something on the story page. But I already wrote the paragraph, so I figured whatevs.Yeah, I know, that was actually just a slightly edited copy/paste of a comment I made in response to someone on ED, I just forgot to remove that part.
Perhaps, but I don't think Super Bitch has thought that far ahead. She thinks the town is screwed, and is in a complete state of panic. She may expect resistance, but an outright offensive attack doesn't seem like anything she would have planned for.
Setting a trap doesn't do you any good if you don't know when to spring it.
The seams in her plan seem to already be unraveling as we speak. The frays have been there for a while now (see how easily it is for Captain Dash to get her flustered, even though Super Bitch thinks she is in complete control of the situation). It won't be enough, but Super Bitch won't achieve anything near the victory she is expecting. Calling it now.
I don't think she's outright making it up as she goes along, but she is frequently losing the mind games she keeps playing against The Captain by a pretty wide margin. Even the ones where The Captain is only playing on accident. Also, Trixie deciding to inform the residents of New Ponyville about who she is, as well as her plan, was simply a spur of the moment action. If the captain hadn't said "Besides, New Ponyville doesn't know you are here. What happens when Nightmare Moon arrives to find an innocent village", then Trixie wouldn't have informed them about her identity and what was going to happen to New Ponyville.
She also seems to be making up her plan along the way. I mean at first she says that she will invade "tomorrow" so that her and the invading force can gather their strength, but thanks to what the captain said, she quickly changes her mind and decides to invade in 1 hour instead. It appears that Trixie had forgotten about building up her power prior to the invasion, which could play into the hands (hooves) of Rainbow Dash and her small, makeshift resistance team.
*clears throat*I have one question about what might be going through Trixies head. Even if the village was to attack first, I think Nightmare Moon might get suspicious about Trixie motives considering she decided to go on a "patrol" with a sizable military presence.
Even if her attack according to plan; the whole plan she has still can't go well for her in the long run, because there's no way for her to justify bringing that kind of military presence without the specific intention of starting some serious 🤬
How does she plan on justify this to Nightmare Moon?
As cunning and ruthless as her plan is, she hasn't explained what she plans on doing if she was successful and killed both Captain Dash and Rainbow Dash in the attack (because when she was coming up with her plan, she didn't know who the Captain was), so I don't think it has occurred to her yet. And she definitely hasn't grasped the concept of what that would mean for her if she couldn't explain it (meaning even if her plan worked perfectly, Nightmare Moon would still probably execute her for treason).
Basically, The Captain being Rainbow Dash significantly altered what Super Bitch had to do for her plans to work the way she wanted them to, but she failed to take that into account because she is so power-hungry and loathes Captain Dash so much that she doesn't care.
I don't think she's outright making it up as she goes along, but she is frequently losing the mind games she keeps playing against The Captain by a pretty wide margin. Even the ones where The Captain is only playing on accident.
Officially part of the herd.
