I laughed more than I should have. I suppose it's good news that I sent Allegrezza to my old Gods 'n' Demons pre-reader, and all he could come up with was adding commas here and there.

I actually came here to tell a similar story. Taking a break from taking a break because I don't want to forget this.


Today at work there were people talking about Transformers. One person was supporting it, and 2 people were against it.

I could hardly contain my laughter when I heard these lines:
"That movie sucked, it was full of plot holes...."
"But the plot isn't supposed to matter, it's just an action movie."
"The plot was so shaky..."(I had to fight to keep that laugh down)
"I thought the plot was pretty well developed considering it's just there to drive the action."
"....the biggest plot hole I've ever seen....."
".....the plot isn't the only thing that matters to me...."


And the conversation was about 20 minutes, so all of that was just way too funny.

I had one of those, then I found out they were a crap platform for mounting an MG, so sold it again.

Also, I just had a fun conversation with my pre-reader. Have some paraphrase:
Pre: Okay, here's chapter 1-5 done. Boy that took ages
Me: Cool! Just in time to review the chapter 6 I just wrote. I'll get editing the first five, you have fun proofing this one.

And saying something? Well, I like a benchmark. I needed something to aim for when I started out writing, Ballad seemed like a fairly fun challenge to match. 0.2 stars and ~300 ratings away, but I've got eight chapters of time...nine if Gravey just posts it already.
