Chances of College being open = 0% but I shall ring anyway. Chef is in on the train, they have stopped a long time ago and the NR website is dead.

Nope, I'm into college. What's the betting that there's about 4 people doing the whole of Brooks? This could be fun!

It's snowing here too, but England seems to be worse than us. How's that work?

YAY! Snow day! the buses arent running from here to Brighton, or anywhere, so I cant get to work!

They are putting it through as holiday too so I can still get paid for it! ZOMG PAID SNOWDAY!

Snowing here, but it is more like heavy showers, and the sun is still breaking through (amazingly!) and hence it is extremely bright outside! We've not had much snow all winter, and I don't think it will be anywhere near as bad up here as it is in London... for a change!

As usual, SNOW + ENGLAND = HAVOC why can't they deal with the snow better, it's hardly that bad and they have had a lot of warning, but all that seems to happen is a lot of worrying and hoping things sort themselves out by themselves. On another note the Football game tomorrow between Arsenal and Cardiff has already been postponed because of safety concerns, when will people stop being so pathetic, other contries cope fine with far more snow than this.

Wind alert...! Gusts of up to 110kph :eek:
I warned you about those fajitas, Diego...

Here's the view from my balcony here at work, taken just a few minutes ago...

Amen, its daft when you think about it really.

Been snowing off and on all day here, but still not nearly as bad as down South... that said, bookmakers are putting the odds on me slipping and landing on my arse on the way home tonight at 2/1 odds-on...

Darn I wish I took pictures...in town a few weeks ago they set up a small hill for people to snowboard down (on a side street which is a hill). I think they were selling food and maybe had a contest or two.

All this snow everywhere and its a humid 30F day here in G-Rap. Harumph.

Actually, today would be just about "perfect" if there wasn't a slight breeze. I like the days that hover around freezing without wind.

Been trying out a bit of camouflage;

Was only around 3 inches of snow in my area, everyone was driving like idiots (revving it hard in 1st. Congratulations.) but my 500 was fine. I did get a bit scared when I got a 4 wheel drift going coming out of work but other than that there were no issues. Saw plenty of tire marks leading into hedges in the snow today though! Most of them ended with a large chunk missing from the bank :lol:

It is just above freezing today with more snow expected tonight and tomorrow. I still have a couple of inches of snice (snow and ice mixed in a melting slush and then refrozen).

You have no idea. Come to Seattle when it snows. It's great fun for a week.

We had a bit of a heat wave over here the last couple days. Walking around outside I didn't even need a sweatshirt because it was so warm.

I think he was referring to the fact that most people in the UK go into panic mode over a light dusting!
Or is that what you also meant?

Although to be fair, some people genuinely couldn't get into work;
