I really want it to snow some more tonight so I don't have to go into work tomorrow. Knowing my luck it'll all thaw out and just be wet by the morning. :(

On the other hand, I'll be so damn annoyed if I don't have college tomorrow. Too much to do to be slacking around. Moglet, stop being a slacker! ;)

I would be posting some pics right now of the best sled I've ever seen but my mem.card has jammed in my laptop and I can't get it out. Won't read either in the position its in.

EDIT: Got my mem.card out thanks to some thin nail things. Too afraid to put it back in now, you'll have to wait for the most awsome sled ever.

Snowball fights with Snowball riots. And I know taxi drivers need to make a living and all, but coming to a Student Village on a night like this was just asking for trouble! :ouch:

We had a light dusting of snow come through last night, which made everything decisively nice. The only problem is that its cold, especially compared to the 30's and 40's we had been in for the past day or so. Looks like it will be sub-20F for the next day or so, which is unfortunate, but I think we'll be able to expect moderately warmer weather in the near future.

Full, glorious sun and -16°F. Talk about deceptive...

Were supposedly going to make it to 0, but I really don't see that happening today.

My god was it fun in London. Yesterday there was snow covering the ENTIRE place and today much of it has turned to slush, but there's still quite a bit of snow. I would have taken a pic of my car park on Monday but I forgot my camera. :(

Even though we came close to being colder then you last week TB, nothing weather wise lasts very long around here. Now where did I put my shorts...:P

Well I guess yesterday we got 24" of snow in only 6 hours. Course I wasn't driving at all, so I didn't care!

According to the paper's trail report, we have 36" of snow on the ground, and have so far recieved 209" this season.

England would literally die if we got 209" of snow in a season.

Well since there's still a few months of winter left, we should average out at about 300" or so overall.

HOLY ****...where's the pics?

Well here's a pic from our paper's website

and I posted a few pics on the previous page, granted they are from up high.

Temperatures have been going down to -22 - -27C the last few days. Heavy snowfall predicted tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to it. Anything is better than standing outside in -22C waiting for a buss. :irked:

Now that's snow :nervous:

Seriously, I don't get why British TV is making such a big deal out of this... it's not that unusual, and it's only been snowing for less than 2 days! Schools CLOSED! Roads covered in.... SNOW! Snow turning to.... ICE! (because it's cold too, see...) Car parks usually filled with, erm, cars are now.... EMPTY! (because people have not taken their cars because of the SNOW!)... It's ridiculous... you'd think it had never snowed here before, ever

It's funny because back home, if they announced 10" of snow, people would freak out whereas up here, 10" is nothing and people just go about their business. Granted at least half the people here have pickups with plows on them!

I am glad to see that British TV is much like American TV.

But we bring it on ourselves. I have made the mistake of making a regular grocery run the day before snow. The shelves were barren and the lines were an hour long.

It was very warm here today. I think I could say that it was very close to shorts and t-shirt weather even. And we got a little dose of snow again last night, but only a couple inches.

We definitely can't compare the snow we get here to what the Yoopers get up at MI Tech though.

I would freak out if it ever got below 0C here... :scared:

12 degrees witha windchill of -1 this morning.

Oh and three more inches of:

Well it's forcast to come down again tonite (a possibly biblical 4 inches).

Needless to say much fun was had in the Student Village yesterday thanks to Uni being off, though many taxi drivers were rather irate and some (like myself) too it as an oppurtunity to drink all day.

Not really, because then you'd be used to it. It's because we only get a couple of days of snow that most folk don't have a clue how to drive in it, and can't cope.

and if that was a weatherman, it's more likely to be 2 and a half...

Woke up this morning to a light dusting of snow (just enough to make everything slippery) and 0F wind chills. One of the mornings where I'm really glad I didn't have to ride my bicycle to school.

EDIT: Woohoo, 500th post!!

42C here at 3:30pm, not sure if it got hotter than that. It's meant to get to 45C on the weekend!:nervous:
