Not surprisingly, the hot weather resulted in a massive rain. And when I say massive, I mean really freakin' massive.

Keep in mind that's a 4-lane (on each side) highway...

Times like this make me feel good about not having a car

Meh. It hasn't rained since that once, and it's not cold enough to warrant my leather jacket. It's the perfect temperature to irritate me.

Did it rain at all up here today? There was plenty of rain on the drive between Seattle and Portland, but it was just cloudy here. I thought I saw a little water around on the roads though...

Tomorrow: 27 degrees Celcius. Warmest winter day on record. Scary.

EDIT: I misunderstood, warmest day in the first half of August ever or something like that. 27C is just ridiculous for this time of year.

I wish it was going the other direction towards us.

Anyways, after having a high of 90 all week we are only supposed to get to 80 tomorrow.

The hot and muggy show down here in Indy. Very high 80s to near 90 by Sunday.

26.7°C in Adelaide today, too bad I was working. Right now I have a nice breeze coming into my room. It feels like Summer again, too bad it wont last.

Really nice day here in New South Wales today. Probably mid 20's for sure. It felt like spring.:)

Really? Several parts of Victoria yesterday night and today have received some of the coldest, harshest, wettest weather for months.

To say that it was 'raining and pouring' today would be a gross understatement, but I am indifferent - I don't mind the odd wetlands this weather makes of the property (and it's interesting to see where there are slight dips of terrain that are revealed only by the ponds formed from heavy rain!)

Supposed to top 90 today and be sunny, tonight it might rain though bringing in some cooler weather but looking at the radar I doubt that.

TB
there is plenty of energy to feed this storm for a while...
Two days later and it is still raining. Hasn't been the entire time, of course, but fairly constantly. Looks to be wrapping up today sometime. Hopefully. High of 75 today and 71 tomorrow so the AC might get a breather.

Really starting to warm up here in Queensland, and after the months of winter this weather feels fantastic... :)

Reaching record winter temperatures everywhere, and for those wondering, it's over 30 degrees Celsius here in QLD, some places almost reaching the high 30s. Nicko, you might like it living coastal, it's probably not so bad. But I'm really warm blooded, and it's just stinking hot up here.:irked:

Still nice cool and rainy down here in South Australia, just the way I like it. :)

It's getting warmer in NSW too.:D Loving that! Probably been mid 20's a few days lately. A bit windy yesterday and today though which really knocked off a few degrees.:(

It's supposed to rain all day, which is lame because I really wanted to cut the grass.

Mostly sunny and 83° today. Too warm to have the windows open, but I'm not going to complain too much. Especially with the lovely weather we're likely to have in a few months.

65 and sunny. :D

It's been very nice here the last couple days. It even rained yesterday morning. Just in time for school to start.

After the coldest August I've ever experienced, the weather is going through the roof. It's currently 95, after reaching 98, with a humidity of 50%. Tomorrow will be hotter! Bleh :yuck: !

Ever had one of those in your weather forecast?

It's going to be 102, with a lot "SMOKE" apparently. At least it's not humid.

Tonight is supposed to get down to 50, tomorrow is only supposed to be 65 and a possibility of frost tomorrow night.

Where is this global warming thing I was hearing about?

Its in California. Today was 97.

10 degrees hotter here. It's starting to get humid, which I hate immensely.

Right now at 7:35PM, it's very hot and humid with the temperature at 92. Thanks to the humidex rating, it's actually 103. And the Sun has just set, but there's still enough light to see. The sky is still blue, but also gray with forest fire smoke, with pink, peach and rose colored clouds that make the whole ground look like shellfish pink. Weird moment.

Today has had really weird weather, being significantly colder than it has been for the past 3 weeks, and it's the last day of winter! :irked:
