It was 45 when I got up this morning, that's really odd for August.

It was 80 when I got up this morning.

It will be 100-102 today. Cooler, but still too damn hot! Oh, and the sky is just filled with smoke.

I nearly drowned this morning cycling to school...
I know it is like Autumn but COME ON!!! I want sun!
:irked:

Sun here in London. The next day will really depend on what direction the rain clouds in the North are moving. If it's south, there'll be rain soon enough here in the South East.

What is this? My apartment mates woke me up this morning and I couldn't get back to sleep. I guess the reason being that it was somewhere below 46 degrees, the window was open and I was using really light sheets.

I guess the alternative is unbearably hot, so I shouldn't be complaining at all.

It's not too bad, I can tolerate cool nights and days in the 70's. Although it would be nice to be warmer for the holiday week so I can lay out on a boat all day.

I can sleep with my comforter in pretty much any temperature. I was just pretty surprised. Definitely nice though. But yesterday was a tad warm. And I'm sure today will be as well.

And then my weather gadget said 54 outside but it definitely felt like at least 65. Looks like I'll have to spend some time getting used to this weather this time.

Friggin weird arse weather in SE QLD! Stinkin bloody hot last 2 weeks, now back to normal winter/early spring temps. Bring on unseasonal storms!

I need an explanation. I'm convinced that I've done something wrong and can't figure it out.

Month of April: Rainy in Seattle, getting warm in Michigan. I'm stuck in Michigan.
May through August: Rainy in Michigan, hot as hell and dry in Seattle. I'm stuck in Seattle.
September: Hot as hell in Michigan, rainy in Seattle. I'm stuck in Michigan.

And yes, my trip from Seattle to Michigan coincided to the day that it stopped raining here and started getting wetter in Seattle.

Oh man it's beautiful in Michigan right now, it's 75 here with not a cloud in the sky. I was outside most of the day cleaning up my car, drinking beer, and blasting classic rock.

Finally it cools down! Man, I actually didn't sweat when I went outside today. That hasn't happened in two weeks! It's not 100; hell, it's not even 90! Wow, what a welcomed relief!

The sky is bright blue, too. No smoke, no clouds and no funky haze we had for the past two weeks, too!

Tomorrow will be cooler, which is fantastic. That means I wont sweat like a pig when I BBQ tomorrow.

The humidity makes it feel pretty miserable. I think I've learned to pretty much add 10 degrees to whatever my weather gadget says and that's what it feels like to me. I thought it was pretty weird when I walked outside and even 56 seemed warm, when I figure 63 is about where I'm happiest.

I was getting all excited seeing these "cooler" temperatures here and completely forgot about the humidity I guess. :indiff:

And I've been outside for a total of less than an hour today. :guilty:

All this inside work sucks...

Tomorrow, on the other hand, we're off to the zoo and the weather will be about the same! :dopey:

Humidity is only 40% over on this side of the state so it's pretty nice. Supposed to rain tomorrow though, which is kinda lame since I had drinking plans.

Well, back here in Seattle, it's raining. Of course, mother nature being the ***** she is, the sky gets really dark, then it gets really bright, so I'm running up and down my room to get the lights on and off.

You guys are lucky. I had a friend bragging to me about the rain earlier today. :grumpy:

Same here. I guess that's just enough over what I'm used to to make it seem pretty hot. The humidity isn't bothering me that much now, just the temperature. And we're scheduled to get thunderstorms all week, which I'm completely excited for.

Hopefully it will be nice by next weekend though, I'm planning on venturing to the other side of the state.

Is your room really that large that this is an issue?

If it is, there has been a product on the market for quite some time that will help you out. Just don't listen to any live music with applause or it'll go ape 🤬. :P

Edit: In looking at the description, it's listed at 8 pounds but shipping weight is only 7.2 ounces. That is one hell of a compression ratio.

My room is very long. My bed's on one side, and the switch is on the other.

Oh, and as for the clapper, if I had one, there'd be no problem, as I listen to music with headphones. ;)
And, if I really wanted to not get up to turn my lights on and off, I'd steal my friend's remote kit.

Yesterday sitting at Australian track, Eastern Creek Raceway, I was getting burnt to a crisp. It was quite hot yesterday...The sun was piercing, just hurt to be outside. So I did get a bit burnt.

But today, shocker, cold, miserable and wet.:( Probably about 22C at the highest but mostly just under 20's.

This weather is pissing me off. Yesterday, it was pouring all day. Today, it's been sunny, with little rain showers rolling through every 30 minutes. Hey, weather, MAKE UP YOUR DAMN MIND.

^ At least you don't have to mess with your lights.

Today at the zoo was awesome. Sunny, 80 degrees, 10mph wind to take the edge off. Great way to spend the day with the family. :D

Wicked. :) I went to Sydeny last weekend and the weather was beautiful. :)

Rain. We pretty much have moisture in the forecast all week long. Autumn is getting closer.

Raining here, too. Tomorrow's supposed to be nice, though - mostly sunny and 78.

Edit: It's now a non-stop lightning fest outside. Now I'll never get to sleep.

So this thunderstorm that was supposed to be here all week has been reduced to showers today and Thursday. Lame.

Well my weather gadget reads 64 right now and with the fog and humidity we have, I must say that it actually feels pretty perfect right now. Finally some decent weather here.

I haven't seen a proper thunderstorm since around 2003 i think. I was 9.

Even for mild Seattle that's strange. I think that's borderline sad...
