I love sunny winters because the temperature's about 5C warmer. There's no snow to worry about because it's usually 15C+. :)

California cold=64

Haha. That's not even cold on Australian standards.

EDIT: Yes it is. Conversion = only 17C.

30. That's below 0C, can't even imagine what that would be like.

I seriously know no one that thinks that is cold... Even my sister who lived in San Diego for 4 years, which is warmer then LA.

I sit in my room and its raining.. Yay!!! Its been about 10 freaking months but its raining. Its supposed to rain for a few days which is good because we need it badly. I can hear the drops hitting the roofing right outside my window and its super relaxing at 1:50AM. :)

You guys in the bay are going to get more rain than anyone else. HUGE pile ups higways from what I saw on the news this morning. All around the GGB area.

I forecast some trees getting knocked out. :scared:

But I like the rain so this is all good.

Just had to go on the roof and clean the gutters with a 30-35 MPH rain gust... Over a 30 foot drop and over a 50 foot drop.

Its pretty mad here now... I love it, we didn't any of this last year.

It's currently 39 degrees out and I'm running around in shorts and a sweatshirt. That's not too bad. But sitting for two hours plus watching a game of soccer in shorts and a sweatshirt? :nervous:

It rained all afternoon.

Then it got colder.

Now it's snowing.

Tomorrow's commute isn't going to be pretty.

Where do you live again? North Dakota? Montana?

It's barely over 40 here and raining. I was out at 3:30 this morning getting "lunch", and I can confirm that these are not the conditions Azenis tires were designed to operate in. I suppose I'm going to have to be "careful" (i.e. purposely scaring the hell out of my passengers while not admitting that I almost hit that car) until November or so when I get my snows on.

And the drive in wasn't all bad as it apparently warmed up over night to a lovely 34° and turned everything to slush.

New tires for the Civic will make it even easier :p.

It's 37 an overcast here right now, one weather forecast is calling for 60% chance of rain while another is calling for all day clouds. I'm not sure which one to believe as they are both frequently wrong. It'll probably snow .

It was very cold, cloudy, rainy and foggy the past three days. Today, it's going to be warm and clear; about mid 80's.

Should be happening tomorrow!

Not to be off topic or anything but what did you decide on?

To be slightly on topic: did you go with all-seasons to help you do decently well in all weather, or did you go with winter only tires to help you through the slush and snow?

I will not sit idly by and let you drag me off topic with you!!!

Note to self. Never say snow in a joking matter.

I just looked outside and it's snowing. Not sticking or anything mind you but it is snowing.

They say its supposed to rain all week with some calm cloudy days... But they are always right so its probably going to snow

*looks outside* dammit.. blue skies and sunshine :(

Why won't it work!!!

Lucky. It's a solid 43 here, and the weather is having trouble decided between overcast and rainy. So we have this super light drizzle going on. And it's supposed to start getting warmer up to the 50s. Not bad, I guess.

And I looked at the 10 day forecast for home and it basically says nonstop rain. That sounds pretty nice.

A top of 27°C in Adelaide tomorrow and some good 20+ days during the week, according to the BOM. Just as I feel like getting back on my skateboard. :D
