Well, it was 67 degrees when I woke up at 5:00 AM. Then there was a tornado warning, lots of wind and rain, and now it is 45 with a low of 37 tonight.

My sinuses hate it.

It's been pretty cold for the past week. It probably got as cold as 25ish degrees in some area during the night. Add on to that supposed rain showers equals snow.

Really annoying thing, if you had driven 15-20 miles in any direction away from Seattle itself, there would have been a couple inches of snow on the ground. Seattle only got a light sprinkling of snow the whole time, barely enough to screw up even the worse of Seattle's terrible poor-weather drivers

It's suppose to warm up a little bit this week.

Today was -15 outside my home, -25 downtown. We have clear blue skies, which is a nice change from the past few days of snow storm with high winds. Within the last week we have had over a foot of snow.

I live in the Bay Area, we got a really rare bit of snow a few days ago in the city, but right now, it's nice and clear at 46 Degrees Fahrenheit :)

It hasn't snowed here in a few days, and the forecast is starting to look warmer with plenty of rain coming. I'm trying to decide when the time for the summer tires to go back on is.

Also, that Alaska snow looks like a lot of fun! All of Michigan shut down when we got that much.

Summer tires shouldn't go on until the end of the month at the earliest. Snow can still happen.

At least here in Fairbanks our snow is very light and dry, you can usually remove it without much effort. I know of people who use leaf blowers to clean their driveways, blowing the snow off the way... Down by Anchorage the snow is wetter and heavier, unlike here.

I figured as much. I'm really excited to get them on again and have fun if snow driving is almost done for the year though.

At least it's easier to deal with there. Although you guys probably get a lot of it.

Here you go, I took this photo...

(By the way, that was 2008 and those gas prices were expensive back then...)

^ It's a lovely 18F right now! About a month ago we were in the -25F range (and as it's always breezy here the windchill was likely -35F) but I don't think we've ever hit -60! :scared:

Now we just need to worry about that damn river flooding again. :ouch:

Tonight it's supposed to hit -20 F downtown, but I live in the hills, which are warmer, should be no colder than -5 F here.

I hope it's all up from here on, I don't want another cold spell...

We had some serious freezing rain this morning. All the freeways are shut down and even thing is a sheet of ice. I tool the liberty to drive backspace as some sort of rally special stage  .

Well, looks like it will be a 60+ day. Taking a half day and taking my daughter to teh zoo, but with a 30% chance of rain we may go to the Frazier Arms Museum instead.

But basically, the weather is arm enough for us to make plans for the zoo.

Then thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow and possible snow flurries on Sunday.

Gotta love spring!

Pretty colors!

That radar image is odd, so there's a thunderstorm and a snow storm mixed together? Are you getting thunder snow?

So if I'm driving and can't get out of the snow, would I be Thunder Struck? :p

Not necessarily a thunderstorm, just heavy rain surrounded by snow and ice.

Hopefully it breaks up a bit before it gets here.

So that storm that was headed our way barely amounted to anything but apparently we're still supposed to get 2" of snow overnight. That coupled with the 36mph to 46mph winds we have now should be fun.

It's really sunny today and around 60° to 65°. So I'll finally be able to walk around in something with short sleaves without freezing my balls off
