So, it was 37 degrees and raining this morning. It should be 67 degrees Thursday. Craziness.

It's in the high 40s right now here.

It's been raining cats and dogs off and on. One minute, the sun is out, the next, it's absolutely pouring. This is schizophrenic Seattle weather at its worst.

On a brighter note, the temperatures are starting to creep up to mid-50s. The longer days and higher temps are telling me that spring is in the air! Sadly, so is my nose.

Good to see home hasn't changed at all! 👍

Feels springy here too. I think we were in the upper 40s today. Not too shabby.

It's been raining on and off here in San Francisco. During the days it'll either be cloudy or misty, then on the latter half of it the sun comes out then the clouds come back in, I tell you...bipolar!

Getting up to the mid 60s here today. I think spring might be here! Guess all that's left is to get the summer rubber put on the car.

Today and the past few days have been mid-upper 70's but that's changing for the next few days. Mid-upper 50's with a big rain storm coming in, in the next few days.

I'm not sure if I should be proud or upset at this.

We've already taken down Michigan. Time to move on to Minnesota! :trouble:

5°C and Raining.
Sitting at my workplace and watching the endless raindrops rolling down the window. :<

36° now, down to 21° overnight so it should be a big old ball of fun in the morning!

Freezing rain, up to .75" of ice or something like that by tomorrow afternoon. Right now it's snowing/sleeting. The drive home from work wasn't what I would consider fun and I'm guessing going to work tomorrow with be slightly worse.

It's been a beautiful past couple of days here in Seattle. Sun and blue skies, and today, it even hit 60 degrees F!

America's Toughest Weather City Champion - Fargo. :D

Just consider Fargo's impressive margins of victory through the tournament. The championship was really Fargo's only stern test.

  • 1st round: 89% of vote (defeated Grand Rapids, MI)
  • 2nd round: 82% of vote (defeated Marquette, MI)
  • Sweet 16 round: 74% of vote (defeated Int'l Falls, MN)
  • Elite 8 round: 91% of vote (defeated Twin Cities, MN)
  • Final 4 round: 77% of vote (defeated Juneau, AK)
  • Championship: 54% of vote (defeated Bradford, PA)
I do find it a bit odd that as the competing city's population went up (Twin Cities), so did our margin of victory and vice versa (Bradford). That and Bradford's population is 9,175 but received 25,575 votes in the final round.

Cheaters.

Using the magical powers of Facebook, I have managed to make the snow go away for the weekend and instead we will have nice 45 degree sunny days for the weekend. I'm glad I was able to do this otherwise our Ultimate tournament would have been awful otherwise.

Either that or Apple is just pulling an April Fools prank on me. :grumpy:

TB, I see you cheating with the smilies...

Hot as hell, for early Spring!

It was 92 yesterday and 88 today! It will cool down by 15 degrees tomorrow, though.

You got that much snow? We saw some on the ground around Rochester, but didn't know there was that much. We just got some sleet for a good 30 minutes out here, gotta love Michigan :grumpy:.

We actually got more then that. I took that picture about 45 minutes after it started snowing and it went on for at least a couple more hours. Probably only a half an inch, but still! It's mostly gone now since it switched back to rain.

And it's supposed to be almost 60 tomorrow with thunderstorms. I'm really surprised my sinuses haven't exploded yet.

It got to be nice and sunny today, so I took advantage of that and let the dogs out for a little walk. Cue, two hours later. Raining like a bitch. That's not even the worst of it. Suddenly, my old CRT monitor flashes bright white, and I backed away from the computer. I had half a second of noticing that; 1. The flash happened outside too, and 2. None of the electronics had actually turned off, before the most ungodly loud and intense thunder rolled in. It lasted a good seven seconds, three of which physically shook the window next to me. That was freaky, especially because I think I can see smoke out the window somewhere.

This must be one of the hottest Spring weeks as far as I can remember. Around 28/30ºC all week, sunny, low wind and really dry. Great to go to the beach, a pity I have to study.

About 10 C° and it rained. Rain temporarily raised the radiation level up to 350 nSv/h. Normal natural radiation level during rain before Fukushima incident around here: 80-90 nSv/h :indiff:
