Saturday it was as near to 100 degrees as you can get. Today it's 61.
Wow, that was only 3 weeks ago. I can't remember the last day it gotten out of the mid-60s since then.

And today there's a damn hurricane over northern Indiana, screwing up my flying schedule. There's not a break between storms long enough to get a break from the clouds and rain. It just so happens to be pulling moisture off Lake Michigan and dumping it on us.

This late summer and early fall seems like it's been really messed up so far. No dry grass, no leaves falling, rarely a cool sunny day with few clouds in the sky. I've mowed the grass 3 times in the last 2 weeks because of heavy rains. I could have sworn fall was usually cool and dry around here...

I've mowed once in the last month and that's likely (fingers crossed) the last time this year.

Also, just to make you jealous, it's sunny, 84° and a nice 7mph breeze. :D

Until next month when I'm bitching that I have to go shovel snow...

Incredible weather down in southern England. Pushing 29°C! In September! Hotter than most of the summer was.

Your weather really changes that rapidly? That's ridiculous. At least Mother Nature could give you time to mentally prepare for the misery!

Bloomin hot in england at the moment at 25c, looks like it will stay that way untill just after this weekend, on which it willl all go tits up again, and if the daily mirror is right then we will all freeze solid by mid November.

Sunny and hot...no news there. Although this summer has been quite cool (if you want to call it that) and not a true scorcher. We had maybe a few 110+ degree days this year, the rest of the time it's hovered right around 95-105.

Monsoon so far has been disappointing, although we had a nice thick dust storm yesterday with no storm clouds in sight. :odd: Supposed to have another one tonight.

The weather in the UK at the moment is amazing, the hottest September 29th in over a hundred years! Not a cloud in the sky and I'm making the most of it before probably other nightmare winter.

It's still hot here! :D The car said 28 today, parked in the shade of a building. It certainly felt it at work. It's funny seeing the shops take down their Autumn displays temporarily!

It's starting to get drizzly and chilly here. Here comes 7 months of winter.

Overcast, around 18° C. I'm actually afraid of the winter. The French government just doesn't know how to handle all the snow...5cm of snow means that the whole Paris metropolitan area is coming to a complete standstill.

It was 89° yesterday and supposed to be 86° today. Averages are 62° and 61°, respectively so when it does decide to cool down, it'll likely do it in 3 days and stay there for 4 months. :irked:

Not to be wishing for it, but the hurricane season in the US region seems to lack hurricanes this year, or did they all went north before hitting any land, except Irene.

After about a week of glorious sunshine, it's now tipping it down and it's stupidly windy. Awesome!

It snowed a bit today for about 15 minutes.. Which is weird because it's going to be 21c this weekend.
EDIT: now 25 this weekend.

Storm rolled through on Thursday morning and dropped our temperatures significantly. Our high yesterday was in the mid 70's, today I enjoyed my first fall hike with it being 82 degrees. Hopefully the temperatures stay down now.

We've had a gorgeous week so far. Went flying this morning and the air was smooth as butter. Even after noon, a haze layer kept the turbulence below about 2500. Upper 70s, lower 80s too.

I'll echo Keef. It's been 25 C almost all week, great weather for the County Fair, blue skies, fantastic weather.

Chicago Weather has been bipolar these days. A week ago, it was rainy, cloudy, and cold. This week, It's sunny And Hot and there's leaves already falling in this hot weather. Looks very strange. But it was a pretty nice day today.

It's so freaking cold over here, there are even warnings of snow next week..

10°C right now, with a ton of rain and icy wind.. And once winter approaches, then it can go below -10°C

18°c today - not so bad for October. Had a great weekend though with over 20°c on Saturday for the Cider Festival! :D Rain tomorrow I think.

I do believe the chilly has arrived. Not cold yet, just chilly.

Overcast at 600 feet. Awesome. Oh, and it's 49 degrees. Pretty sure we're on the way to winter...

Highs in the mid 60s all week, lows in the 30s and 40s (Fahrenheit). Not so bad. I'm just glad the hot and humid Southern summer is over with for now. I <3 Autumn
