There is a whole bunch of bushfire smoke around here today. Makes it feel quite sticky. Actual temperature is in the high 20's, which is a nice change to the high 30's we have had lately.

Not sure if it's been mentioned in this thread already or not, but apparently us Brits are going to have 3 weeks of snow starting either later on today or early tomorrow morning  .

(Well it has been cold a lot recently in the UK, what are your thoughts on this? Is it really going to snow for 3 weeks or an error in weather broadcasts?)

They said last week we'd have 2 weeks of rain. We haven't. I would say we'll probably get some snow, the country will grind to a halt for a couple of days, and then it will be back to normal. Though I would like 3 weeks of now, that would be cool.

New York weather....it's January. Last week it was almost in the single digits with 3 feet of snow. It is now 70 out. WTF?

These past few days have been unusually cold. It's 37 degrees out and it's almost noon! Usually we're in the 50s during the day. :odd:

Well that's global warming for you :dopey: .

EDIT: Nooo someone has the same colour text as me  ^

EDIT 2: Probably going to be typing in this lovely shade of dark blue from now on :p . /off_topic

Just to update on "3 weeks of snow for UK", nothing much is really happening and it doesn't look like it's going to snow. Well at least in the area that I'm in.

Crap, it's all crap.
There's supposed to be several feet of snow at this time of year, but it's all melted and now the backyard is like a lake.
So it's cold and dreary. :(

It was sunny today but very cold around 3-5°C and I doubt we will get any snow let alone 3 weeks of it.

The last two nights have been the coldest in over 60 years! Low 50's during the day, mid to low 20's at night. Going to be like that for a few more days and then it will warm up. Mid to high 60's at day and low to mid 40's at night.

Yeah, it looks like London is going to miss most of it. The East Coast is going to get loads though, I might move up there.

Which is a good thing for me because I don't really fancy the rapid and sudden weather changes the world has been facing recently.

Yeah, not cool. Just got done with a bike ride which is never pleasant in this type of weather. Body is sweating to death from my jacket, but my face and hands are numb.

So it did end up snowing here, and more heavily than I expected. It's been a while since we got a decent covering that didn't melt after an hour.

The irony that London still remains unaffected  .

Enjoy the snow while you still can 👍 .

Well, I would like it to snow a bunch, but I have an A2 exam tomorrow morning, so I think I have to go in anyway ...

On the brightside, I have to do a paper round on my 23mm wide tires in whatever conditions I awake to tomorrow  I think I might take it quite gingerly

Your tyres aren't really that thin, are they?
