Well that's not good that we're going to have a storm. And don't worry about the snow too much; we're going to have plenty of it over the next 3 weeks apparently.

All day snow, and now it is below zero. So tomorrow everything will be covered in ice. Excellent.

I meant snow storm. Hopefully my school will close or if it doesn't there's enough snow to have decent 'war' with. :sly:

It looks like a lot of us are having some snow at the moment. Coincidence...?

For everyone in the south of the UK you are going to get a battering of snow on friday/saturday. The latest forecast models are suggesting 18 hours of moderate snow for where I live (west Surrey).

I'm not scaremongering I'm just reporting the facts, this has the potential to be very large. Remember you heard it here first. ;)

Sunny, clear and warm. Finally, the cold snap is over. Going to be like this for a week or so. It was in the mid 70's today with bright blue sunny skies.

The entire state is under a winter weather watch. 2-4 inches of snow is to be expected.

Similar situation here, up to 8 inches expected in some places, mainly over the Brecon Beacons and the moors. Most places set to have around 4 inches, or a round 10cm.

Bad news for me, I need to be back at uni on Monday, and when the snow comes, it doesn't look like it will be melting any time soon.
I don't fancy driving 85 miles in those conditions.

About half an inch here so far tonight in New York, mainly a dusting afterthe other 3 feet melted in about 2 days. Seriously, doesn't take long when the temp goes from 15 degrees to 70 in a day

Today is quite pleasant. There isn't any sun as usual but the temp is up a bit and the bitterness in the air has lessened. It seems even the pollution level has dropped to 'lightly polluted'.

Everything's white outside! Arrrrghhh..... it's the end of the world!

Oh no, hang on. I think it might be snow. The schools aren't shut so I guess it's not going to last. Rain and disappopinted children predicted by lunchtime. :indiff:

The skies here look very ominous. We're due a couple of inches later on, but of course school hasn't been cancelled. (Though its not surprising considering how unpredictable the weather can be)

We've already got 5-6 inches from snow on Tuesday/Wednesday, got another 2-3 inches overnight and are due to have it snow all day today, all night and all tomorrow as well.

Oh and it hit around -12 Celsius around here earlier in the week.

Snow, snow and more snow! It got my opera rehearsals cancelled, day off for me!
