Apparently it's 15°C (59°F) here today, which is 25°C above the nighttime temperatures we had no more than 5 days ago. Seems like that's an extreme temp difference as far as UK weather goes. It sure as hell doesn't feel that mild with these strong winds.

Some I did during my one-day hiking trip in the surrounding area of Hanover, a few days back, right now there is no snow left. :(

More rain today, but as I've mentioned before nothing unusual for Britain. Would have been some snow if the temperature didn't rise :grumpy: .

God, I miss that place. I was never out and about in the winter like that, but I've got pictures of the fields upon fields stretching to the horizon. I hope some day I'll be able to go back.

Today it was supposed to be 59F, right now it's 70F. Then tomorrow we're getting some big thunderstorms. Usually nothing interesting here happens. But in the past 2 years or so it's been crazy.

You're always welcome. :sly:

Related to this: I always wanted to visit 'Murica and if so, then Seattle would defintaly be on my list, what I can tell from movies and of course GT hehe, it looks like a really cool city, except that it is supposed to rain rather often over there. 👍

Storm finally passed last night, but it was damn cold this morning. Gradual warming until the weekend when it'll be 75 on Saturday! Yay.

It has been so cold that it broke our local tornado warning sirens, causing them to go off on their own off and on for about two hours straight. Then they just turned them off until they can find the problem and fix it.

I predict a freak warm, humid front will sweep through in the the next day or two and create a couple of tornados just in our city, only because that's just how the world likes to work.

So, um...make that five days. Got over 70F today. But tonight...

Sometimes (not often, but it happens), I hate being right.

:ouch:

To add to my above prophetic ability, I woke to this:

Fortunately, none hit us but there were tornado warnings within 50 miles.

Well you are very fortunate that the tornado missed you by a couple of miles.

The most interesting weather posted in this thread for a while :D .

Back to being clear and cold. Supposed to warm up quick, but riding a bicycle to work in 38-42 degree weather isn't fun.

Almost hit a high of 70 here today and tommorow the high is 28. Welcome to New York.

Seems like that happens everywhere in the Midwest. I'm in Michigan and the exact same is happening. But I think it wasn't quite even 60 today. But it will be about 20 tomorrow.

Another round of warming groceries in the freezer. High tomorrow is -9F, windchill of -35F. Low of -17F.

Heavy winds and rain when I went to bed last night. Then woke up at half 7 this morning thanks to a brief electrical storm.

I don't remember any of that being in the forecast for our area.

Warm yesterday and even warmer today. About 74 with bright blue skies and not a cloud in sight. Another day of hell in SoCal.

It was quite cloudy early on in the day, but it has warmed up and is fairly sunny outside. It is 10 degrees Celsius right now.

It's 74 degrees.

Come on, you know what he was really asking for. He was asking for a translation betweeen Fahrenheit to Celsius :sly: .

Tuesday we had 56 f degrees with thunderstorms, rain, and flooding. Today it is 19f degrees with -20f wind chill and expected 10"-12" inches of snow over the next couple days. Brutal weather for traveling.
