After 38*C / 100*F here yesterday today is much cooler. No "measurable" rainfall has been recorded in Melbourne City since the "end of the world" (December 22, 2012).

Meanwhile in Tropical Australia Heat index's are up to 58*C / 136*F ! But the actual temp is only around 32*C/90*F with a dew point of around 30*C or 86*F.

Turn off the freezer and keep the food outside.

Keep the food on the door step.

Bit nippy here with the wind and all but not too bad. Thinking of investing in a pair of then gloves that let you use touch screen.

There's something very wrong when taking groceries out of your vehicle and putting them in the freezer WARMS THEM UP.

You know your fridge and freezer have no purpose when it's colder outside than it is inside of your fridge.

Welp, it's decided to start raining again today after a week or two of sub-freezing temps. A shame really, I liked it cold.

We had this sort of rock-hard ice covering on our yards here, it looked nice, but was as fluffy as a industrial revolution razor blade factory. I think it's all gone now, but I'm still hoping for a late winter snowfall.

Rained off and on all weekend long. Right now, the rain has finally stopped and no more is expected. And it got a lot colder today. Sunny tomorrow with clearing skies. Temps about the same. Tue-Wed will have increased temps and more sunny, clear skies.

We have almost the exact same weather pattern from last year. Almost to the day! Last year it was around 1 degree then a week later 50 degrees with thunderstorms and lightning. Last week it was 1 degree, today 50+ with thunderstorms. Very similar weather patter just with a little more snow this year.

Ya this weather seems a little strange even for Michigan. We are supposed to get 2" of rain here tonight and this Lake Effect snow on Thursday. Currently it's so foggy I can't see across the parking lot.
