Check out this storm moving across the eastern states tonight.

Now last night's rain has moved off to the North East it's blue skies all the way! Weekend outlook is looking good - 65°f and no rain. :D

74, sunny bright sky with a slight haze. No wind today. I like the wind, when it's warm but not when it's cold.

Those states are getting pounded, I believe there's been a few confirmed tornadoes too.

Here in GR it's been raining pretty much non-stop since Monday night. The Grand River has flooded, but apparently it always does that and it's nothing out of the ordinary. They're saying tonight the rain might switch to sleet/snow. Figures I put the summer tires back on my car and it's going to snow...Thanks Obama.

It's just crazy to see a storm stretch across that many states. (hurricanes excluded)

Yeah. That's pretty crazy. Those kinds of storms seem to roll through here more often now. I guess I'm just getting used to it.

There were Tornadoes in there? That's unfortunate for anyone who's been affected :nervous: It must have also been crazy to experience a dramatic temperature change in only a day, especially in Texas. I believe it went from the low 90's to the 30's and 20's

Meh, just spring storms. That being said they are still dangerous. I had water coming up through my basement last night. Obviously tornadoes are bad, but this is spring in the Midwest. I hope nobody gets hurt this year.

Ya I'm not really sure what the damage scale is, but I believe one person died in a building collapse as a result of the weather. The news started to talk about it today, then for whatever reason thought talking about Jay-Z going to Cuba was more important.

And temperature swings like that? In Michigan we just call that spring weather. In March it was almost 70 and the next day it was in the 20's and snowing. Although the big lake really affects us.

3 days of nonstop nightly thunderstorms, and 4 days of rain, which is now freezing rain and turning into an ice storm.

Been raining for three days now. Accourding to the local news at 6, in my town we have recieved 6.5 inches of rain so far this week. This is a significant diffrence from this time last year when it was unseasonably hot (about 80 degrees F) and extremely dry. But I guess not every moment the weather changes in Michigan rather than year by year consistent weather trends.

We got quite a bit of snow over the last 24 hours.

Unfortunately people still don't know how to drive in snow as a car went through the ice in a pond across from me. Not sure if they are OK though, but going by how long the emergency vehicles were there and the lack of police tape I'm guessing they survived. Thankfully I think a plow truck was driving by when it happened and I live near both fire and police stations so they were there in a minute or two.

I woke up at 7am today to a big bang of thunder. I lost 20 minutes of sleep thanks to that

So the weatherman predicted a heatwave this weekend and even the press went to town on it....

Please explain why it is cold, dark, wet and windy outside right now :grumpy:

It's mid April and a snow storm just blew through. The joys of spring in Montana.... :)
