So jealous of all you guys in the Northern Hemisphere! Too cold here only 14C / 57F here today brrrr! at least it is sunny and calm!

Highest temp in the next week is only 17C / 63F Hurry up SUMMER!

Even though it is mid winter here, heaps of deadly bugs are still around, nearlly got stung yesterday :embarrassed:

Our winters go down to -20.

Too hot.

Like, Algerian prison hot.

Our summers go up to 30C and well above.

EDIT: Parts of the county south of Pittsburgh are inundated. some main roads have been totally closed, and one town is totally closed down. The flooding is incredible, I can't remember ever seeing it this bad. And we have more rain coming tonight. :scared::nervous:

Toronto... :(

If it got to that temperature here in the winter, everybody would be acting like it's summer! I'd kill for it to be that warm in the winter.

Yesterday produced one hell of a series of storms. A confirmed tornado wipes out the Mineral City Fire Department.

This only about 15 minutes from my house. :nervous:
We had some intense storms, tornado warnings, flood warnings, etc., etc., etc.. but for the most part we only suffered a few downed limbs and branches.

After a few days with bad weather, not rainy but really cloudy and cold finally a nice day here in Santiago.

I have tried to go out in short sleeves but after a few mins it just feels really cold. The sun is very weak at this time of the year and dry northerly winds make it feel like around 10C / 50F. So it is mainly the wind chill that makes it feel cold.

A Tropical originated rain system is heading our way which is very unusual for July. Temps are now forecast to hit the low to mid 60's F / 15-18C for a few days in a row. But of course it will also be raining so it probably feel quite humid.

Nice mountains. We have similar mountains in the backyard. This is the shot of them from my son's high school.

Today, it was only 80° but very humid. No sky, just dark and light gray rain clouds everywhere. Drizzled off and on, too. Cool breeze, too.

But, heating back up by Saturday. Mid to high 90's. Same humidity. Bleah.

That wouldn't stop people where I live ;)

I remember in college a few people came into college wearing shorts, in February, when it was 3C outside. :dunce:

Thank god I was on the turnpike. I95 would've been people parked with their hazards on in all four lanes.

Edit: so I guess a tropical storm is incoming. Who knew? Sorry for the language in the video. It was a lot worse than it looked. That was going 20 in a 70. Only a few car lengths of visibility.

It hasn't rained here for nearly 10 days which is surprising in the UK, its been wall to wall sunshine and heat, might actually have to start watering things in the garden

It was in the lower 80's today and really nice. Next week though looks like the furnace is going to get turned up, the NWS is saying by Thursday we could a heat index of 100+ degrees, which isn't very common for Michigan. Looks like I'll be headed to the lake shore next weekend.

Beautiful day out. Sunny, in the low 70s and with a nice breeze.

Hot. Very hot.

We had the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures of 31C or 88F. And now it's nearly 2am and it's still around 70F and extremely muggy. It's supposedly going to be like this all week too.

Monsoon season is still teasing us. Storms build up and then break apart when they get to the valley. Supposed to be a good chance of rain the next couple days, so hopefully we finally get some. 105*F today...

That looks like the kind of weather we get over here pretty much every day from March-May. When the wipers are on super speed and it's still not fast enough but it doesn't matter because everyone has either stopped or is crawling along.

However right now it's glorious sunshine. 30/86 today but 34/93 expected on Tuesday with lots of rain and I imagine a lot of thunderstorms.

Today was hotter. I think it peaked out at around 34C+.

Does anyone else find it suspicious that it used to never stop raining in the UK and now we've had so many hot sunny days in a row that I can't even remember the last time we had a drop of rain from the sky?
