Absolutely spot-on perfect to day. No rain, partly cloudy (or sunny if that's your thing) and 72° after a low of 59° this morning. Felt almost cold after the 95 we had on Thursday.

Air con off, windows open. :D

I was legitimately surprised there wasn't a tornado. I kept an eye on the radar waiting for a hook echo.

As I mention below, the five minutes of rain we got felt like a tornado. I was surprised, both ways. "Wow, that's surprising, what a huge storm" and "wow, that wasn't a tornado?!"

What time did it finally let up for you guys? I think it let up here about 2:30 or so in the morning.

The lightning? We got 12 hours of that. Rain? 5 minutes after it started. Did I mention flooding? Yes, that's after 5 minutes of rain. Hurricanes?

*alien meme*

Canada!

Wow...it was definitely a storm to remember.

More of the same from yesterday. Low-mid 80's, rain and thundershowers, dark, gray skies.

Not perfect BBQ weather, but it will have to do. Smoking a pork roast for some smoked pulled pork sammies.

We have a heat wave coming towards us. Today it already was 30c. For Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday even higher temps are coming. But, as is always the case after this kind of weather, we'll get some serious downpours with thunderstorms. Can't wait for it. : D

"Only" 25°C here, today. Of course no rain, but there actually quite a big chance it'll come on Thursday :D. Hopefully it'll bring some cooler temperatures too.

Well that was a big thunderstorm last night! I'd almost forgotten what rain looked like. Moving north, so it looks like the UK is going to get them today.

The winter of 2012-2013 was the strangest that I can recall during all my years of living in South Texas. For the first time ever, we did not turn on the central heating system one single time. We did have some very hot days in early spring (108°F), but early summer has been fairly cool by our standards. It hasn't been over 100°F on too many days, so far.

That's all about to change and it appears as if our weather is getting back to normal (ugh!).

Our swimming pool is certainly going to see a lot of use over the next ten days, for sure.

So, today we hit 30°C indoors, and 25°C outdoors. Though, right now (16 min. to midnight), we're at 17°C outside :indiff:...

Storms came over our way last night literally minutes after I went to bed, so that robbed me of most of the sleep I was hoping to get. Had at least 3 spells of thunder and lightning in an hour though.

I love storms. But not when they keep me awake all night, along with the already-high humidity. :grumpy:

I can remember a few storms we've had to pull over.

Half the cars on the road had actually pulled over. And I was stuck behind some guy doing 15mph for a couple clicks. :ouch:

I went through a massive puddle and the splash went right over the car, so that was fun. :D

Torrential downpours in a car can be scary

Well in Inverness Summer has ended abruptly, with a snap thunder and lightening storm..

And to add to the joy I have to pick up my car at some point before 4pm for work then drive in this.. Uggh :ouch:.

HUGE monsoon clouds coming in from the East. 40% chance of rain at the moment, we had some rain last night but it was more of a drizzle than anything else. Pretty humid outside right now.

All pretty quiet and still here at the moment considering we're due thunderstorms later. Hoping they'll clear by tonight as I'm going to a party in a marquee which won't be much fun if it's tipping it down. Temps down a bit on where it was over the last few weeks, but it's back into the high 70s and sunny tomorrow.

We had that yesterday and the day before. We had a lot of rain here in SoCal, but just a little bit where I live. Still have a lot of humidiity, rain clouds, but at least the temps are low. High 80's and low 60's at night to cool things off.

That storm got to the valley and dissipated. However, nasty lightning storm outside at the moment. No rain since this morning so far.
