Been cold and rainy all day, last night it almost dipped into the 40's. I think I had the best night sleep though because I was all warm under the covers but my room was freezing. Right now it's in the low 60's and I had to throw a jacket on.

We've been getting a fair decent amount of rain over the last few days. It's good for the drought and all, but I really miss the warm weather. I feel partially responsible as I was born in Winter. Sorry for the cold.

lolololololololol.

Non-stop rain. My sump pump hardly ever runs. Today, it's been going every 5 minutes all day long. 👎

Better than a flooded basement, though.

It's back to warm temperatures and sun today. It's pretty rare to have a random day of weather like we had the other day here...

I would rather have a flood than a drought, and i know droughts.

^^^ It always rains after you water the plants, wash the car or when something like that happens.

Here? I washed the car earlier this week and it rained two days later. And we had a good rainstorm roll in here yesterday. That was a nice break to our 90 degree daily heatwave. And apparently you don't need windshield wipers if you have Rain-X on your windshield and there aren't streetlights beaming down on you.

It's only in the mid 70's here but feels a lot hotter since there is no breeze or clouds, the humidity is also kind of on the high side. Supposed to be back in the 90's for the rest of the week though.

Sort of getting warmer here, i can't wait til Summer, we NEED rain though, the farms are drying again. :)

It's been raining hard here for the last 24 hours, if that make syou feel any better...

And the sun just came out. This is the brightest it's been all day, and it's 6:00.

Warmer? It snowed today

I heard it snowed in the hills, but it has never snowed here on the Yorkes, and most likely never will..., the closest to the Yorkes it snowed was Snowtown (seriously, it did, no joke ) and Peter borough.

Has rained every day for the past two weeks. Some sunshine yesterday, some this morning, but now the clouds have closed in again.

Same here. What a fine country we live in.

Fine indeed, plenty of water available. :P

We had i slight drizzle on the way home, but not much, kind of warm here, about 22C or so. :)

Other then being absurdly hot, in the high 80's to 90's, it has been pretty nice the past couple days and supposed to stay nice through the holiday on Monday. Temps dip into the 50's at night making sleeping easy and I just flick the A/C on about 10am to keep the house cool (no sense running the A/C at night when it's cool outside).

I spent a good deal of time on the lake today and went to a concert tonight with more lake in the forecast tomorrow since it's supposed to be so hot. Good way to end the summer but after this it can get cold and rainy and turn into autumn.

I keep wondering if it will stay "warm" until mid-December like it did last year... I hope not, but then again, I really don't want it to get too cold either. I seem to recall that while we went some time without snow, we had an issue with absurdly cold temps for weeks, and then it was what seemed like a constant snow until April.

*sigh*

Is there anyone down south who can shed some light on the impending hurricane landing?

I'm ready for some rain here. Today wasn't as bad as yesterday but it's still hot. Yesterday broke records in the Bay Area. Claiming 101F but that's in downtown and it's always hotter where I live then downtown. probably in the neighborhood of 105F.

It's [retty mid-westy here right now. Warm and humid. I don't too particularly like it, but I'm glad it isn't much worse, like it could be.

I've been hearing that this winter is supposed to be worse than the last one. This could get interesting. Although I'm kinda regretting banking on that late winter by not bringing many winter things with me to school now...

Well here a couple of years ago it was hot until April or so  (we have summer in December in case you don't know)

It rained pretty much all day, but the temperature was in the lower to mid-60s. So it was a nice break from the hot weather.

Same here. Perfect day for the college to decide it wanted to do our fire drills...

I thought it was fantastic. I'm guessing this is what's left over from the hurricane?

I don't know if Gustav sought to attack us Yankees... But if you say so...

I couldn't believe how much it rained today, and to be frank, I'm glad I didn't wash my car yesterday. This is only the second time I've had the Celica out in this much rain, and tell ya what, its a different thing having to manage all of the wipers at once.

It's been raining for two days straight now and we are looking at another day and half before it ends. Reports are saying we are supposed to get between 4-6 inches of rain...that's what our snow forecasts sound like. We are having major flooding problems too.

We had a thunderstorm last night, last time i remember having one of those is when i was 9. :scary: Warming up a bit, been in the mid 20's, beautiful weather. :)

Ike has become a tropical storm, and hasn't been pounding us DFW folks very hard. I feel for my Houston & Galveston Texans, though. :nervous:
