I was outside without a bigass jacket, and I survived. Global warming rules your pants off.

Umm. I have worn my fleece twice and my rain jacket once this winter. And the fleece and rain coat were when I was up in the snow all day. And yes, the pants are still off.

And it looks like there is a cold front or something moving through that will drop us 20 degrees.

LATE EDIT: Looks like there is a cold front coming through here soon. We're supposed to go from 54 now to 37 tonight and back up to 38 tomorrow. And it looks like the front is bringing lots of rain.

Rain AND snow... Its the miracle of lake effect! The good news is that it probably won't stick, its too wet/warm for it to mean anything. That is, until the ground freezes up late this week on into next.

Or, rain when it's starting to get cold. And we don't use lakes to control or weather out west. Icy roads will be fun though. That doesn't happen often.

It's now 41 degrees and raining. THAT's more like it! Should be this fantastic for the next week or so.

Still 55 and raining, we have flooding now and a bunch of roads are closed due to it. The kicker is it might get down to 31 tonight which mean epic ice tomorrow.

It was 12 degrees today and all the snow melted away! This is freaking Ontario here.

Damn 41? That's what 105 or something?

Yeah. Although last week we got up to about 45C so it's nothing new. However, the worst thing is since it's also going to be 41C Friday, Thursday night won't get much below 30C (86F), that's what really sucks.

Wow, when I was in Spain I remember it being 42 which was epically hot. We rarely if ever get days like that in Michigan. I think I've seen it 100 degrees before but that's maybe once every couple of summers. 90 is uncommon though.

Ah, summer....so far away :(. Somewhere around 80 degrees and a gentle breeze wafting barbeque fumes .

Summer '05 was absolutely stupid hot in Michigan. That was the hottest I've ever experienced I think.

Thankfully, Saturday is supposed to bring a cool change with the average temperature supposedly hovering around the mid-25's. This, however, will apparently only last until mid-Sunday will it not?

I hate Australian in the summer-time; it's either far too hot or far too cold.

Talking about hot temperatures around here, I'll never forget the day I walked out of my tent at the Murray River and the temperature was an unbelievable 47 degrees.

Yeah, I believe the change is coming Saturday morning so Friday night will still be hot.

Part of my work is in a Tin Shed, with a few plastic panels in the roof so heat and light can come in but not out 👍. Our little thermometer in there only reads to 50C so I don't know what it exactly was, but those couple of days last week it was sitting on that for most of the day, you walked outside in the sun and you felt cooler, it was a good 55C in there.

Really? That's just like home. Maybe it's the humidity that makes it feel like it's a million degrees outside.

Generally, summertime humidity in Seattle is about 30-35%. When it gets really hot, the air is coming from eastern Washington, so it's even drier, maybe 20% or so. We get muggy days, but it's usually not above 70 degrees when the clouds roll in. When I was in Virginia last summer, it was about 80 F and 50% humidity. It felt muggy to me, but all the locals were marvelling at how pleasant it was outside.

Wow! right now in my area, it's above 45°C outside and possibly around the 50°C mark (113-122 fahrenheit for you Americans). Our thermometer tops out at 45°C so it's hard to tell how hot exactly, but this some of the hottest weather I've ever experienced. :scared:

Good thing we have a pool, we already have about 10 people over using it. :)

That's really incredibly hot.

Meanwhile, it's starting to feel more like Michigan here. It's definitely cooling down.

For whatever reason, there is still snow on the ground along Highway 8, about 10 miles west of here. It's been in the mid-40's and raining for two days, but those stubborn little white spots refuse to go away. It rained so hard this afternoon in Elma, my car got a nice wash :D.

So you have a nice clean brown car now? Got rid of all those pesky black spots?

Right now it is sleeting (right word?) mixed with snow. The pavement is all slushy and grassy areas are more white. Maybe I'll wake up to something interesting tomorrow.

In South West England it has raining extremely heavily for the past few days and there have been loads of floods. I'm not sure about temperature buts it's probably between 5 and 10 degrees celsius on average.

It's been above freezing. All that's left are the nasty chunks left from the snowploughs and patches in shady areas.

I am in Michigan, right?

Ya weird weather we've been having, it'll probably snow in April.

I'm going to guess Seattle has another big snowstorm during winter break when I'm stuck here and Michigan gets a good 20 inches over spring break when I'm at home.

Brilliant sunshine today, and a balmy 47 degrees :). Great view of Mt. Rainier today, with a huge lenticular cloud sitting on top of it. Around here, lenticular clouds are a good indicator that rain is on the way, and it is indeed expected tomorrow. The rest of the week is supposed to be really nice, though.

From my back deck, a little while before sunset:

Wow I would love to have a view like that, all I see when I look out my back desk is another house and a Chevy dealership.
