Its pretty boring up here. The only thing special has been the strong wind and bitter cold. It was sunny today, for a little while, but the temps never rose past the mid 20's. Still, we don't have to wait much longer for Spring. Well, until March anyway.
So, would any of you Michiganders like to estimate the probability of snow on the ground in Detroit on January 18? I'll be there. I want snow, because we certainly won't have any here.
today, it is not very cold, only -9 celcius, and tomorrow, 15cm of snow are expected!!
Oookay. It's not very warm here, only 33 celcius and no wind, sunny.
Not verry warm, what's warm for you?
Here it's -12C for the moment.
<<<That's how I look when I go outside for more than 30 minutes.
You're missing out on some Pineapple Express action right now!It feels warmer here than it did I Seattle when it was raining.
Is all of this serious? Because I don't want to explain the science behind it if you aren't.I think I might go down to the local community college and sign up for some meteorology classes. Because I simply don't understand why our precipitation when it's below 32 degrees has to be frozen. As in ice. Why can't it be snow? And when we do get enormous precipitation...it just happens to be at least 33 degrees. Why can't we get these huge rain storms when it's, say, 31 degrees? Because if it was we would have like 2 feet of snow right now.
Today it's snowing very lightly. Apparently it's not below 32 because my pool isn't frozen--but it's 30.
I think I'm going to call BS on this whole water-freezes-at-32 thing. Seems like it only works half the time.
I've got myself into a sort of snow obsession lately, so no, I'm about 70% kidding. I'm frustrated because no tire companies make cold tires. Yeah, I've got the snow tires, sure, but apparently what I actually need are cold tires. Because it's not snowing. Argh!Is all of this serious? Because I don't want to explain the science behind it if you aren't.
Mud, eh? They still haven't paved the streets in Pullman?
Woof!![]()
