Currently at 13°F with a projected high of 13° - that's a pretty safe bet, eh?

We're supposed to be getting some snow, but so far nothing.

It's like 38F right now. Rain from the past couple of days has made for some nice soup. At least I can see my actual driveway now.

Whooohooo. I am pretty happy. They are forecasting Snow for Lisbon and Algarve, a thing witch apparently is very very very rare to happen, although it happened 4 years ago. The tendency for this to happen is in a 4/100, or is other words, less than 4 years in a century. I hope it snows really hard in my zone.

It looks like spring here. Clear skies, sun shine, snow is all melted... though it is 36 degrees now. Winter has been very very odd this year, needs to make up its damn mind.

Our forecast went from 10-12" of snow, to 5"-8", to 3"-6", to 2"-4", to 1"-3", to 1" or less in a matter of 24 hours...wait to be accurate NOAA 👍!

Sounds like we are having very similar weather patterns. Guess we're not that far away, but in this valley, clouds tend to either go around, or they get stuck because of the mountains....

Still cold, about -7 °C during the day. Next week it will get warmer though - positive t° -and all the snow will melt. :(

I like driving in the snow. I like snow, period!.
I practically grew up in Austria and I guess that is why I like snow so much and a froozen scenery (landscape).

wow, these sentences sound like they've been writin by a 2 yo. :P

I hope it will be warmer next week. :D

I must not be paying attention enough... Or waking up on time. Computer has said snow for the past few days, as far as I could tell, we didn't get much here. Either way, they're doing an absolutely terrible job plowing the roads. Again.

That's Interstate 5.

A little bit south of there:

Those pictures were on the KOMO website today.

Definitely not as bad as last year. I think the Chehalis River crested a foot or so below where they thought it would? That makes a big difference. I-5 reopened this afternoon. Last year, it was closed twice as long. Plus, last year's floods were preceded by a huge windstorm, which knocked over billions of trees, making it impossible to get anywhere. The forecast for next week is looking dry and relatively warm. I think we deserve a little bit of a break :).

Snow, snow, snow... Thats all we're getting today. Although, being further north, we're getting less snow than Joe and company out there in the Detroit area. Still, a 2-5 inch snow is pretty good to keep you shoveling, and I'd definitely prefer it to the 6-10 they're getting south of here.

It depends on where you are in the Detroit area, the further north you go the less snow you are getting. Although what is really pissing me off is the weather forecast at midnight was calling for 30 and cloudy today. I got up at 8 and there was a winter storm warning calling for 2-12". I hate the damn weather forecasters, seriously how can you suck that much at figuring out what's going to happen?

I'm in the 6-10" area, and 10" was a little low of a prediction. There's 11.5" in the front yard right now(I got bored and measured), and it's still coming down fast.

This is the view out my bedroom window:

It snowed all day today, smililar to all the other Michiganders here. I think we probably would up with about a foot total for the day.

Less than an inch here... however in Angola (where I used to live), they had 2 to 3 inches yesterday and another 6 on top of that! Randy

On my little walk today, it looked as though we got about 6" give or take. Overall, it was high quality fresh powder. Kinda makes me sad that I didn't want to drive in it to ski today.

We ended up with 7" total, pretty bad considering less than 24 hours ago we weren't supposed to get anything. My snowblower is broken too, but my buddy came over with his so we could do my driveway. I think I would have cried if I had to do it by hand.

I think I showed my true Michigander colours tonight though, I was out grilling dinner in the thick of snow.

Apparently it was 42 degrees out last night. My brother made some comment about hell freezing over and how it had happened. I went outside in a robe though and I thought it was pretty nice out.

Farenheit or Celcius? (can't spell either of them)

EDIT: I assume farenheit, 42C is just about impossible at night. :irked:

Almost an inch has fallen in the last two hours here. I went for a good hour and a half drive in a big loop to find out what it was like everywhere, and for the most part the streets hadn't been touched. Recent rain washed most of the salt off the roads, so I got plenty of snow driving fun in. It's mind blowing how overly cautious some people are though. It's pathetic! I was going the speed limit on a snow covered highway, passing people who were going 30. Ridiculous. I didn't encounter any ice on my trip, as it hasn't even gone over 30 all day and the roads were dry when it started snowing.

It feels good passing a Jeep Commander going half your speed and blaring the horn as you give him the finger. :D

WOW snow! Only something we could dream of here in NSW, Australia where I live.

No, you think you have got it tough, snow in queensland:crazy:. Iv'e never seen snow and I really want to...

Also, new south wales got snow up at armidale 2 years ago I think. Armidale is where family used to live so yeah. To think we went up there and it had snowed the day before, I was really annoyed:guilty:.
