We had some super hard rain accompanied by severe thunder and lightening earlier. It only lasted about 15 minutes. Made me feel like I was in Daytona or something.

Speaking of which, the east coast of Florida is getting pounded right now. NWS shows a nice thick red line all the way down the coast. Ugh.

A constant 75° here today, not a single cloud in the sky. I was stuck indoors in a restaurant with a massive food unit on full heat, and no air conditioning. Must have been about 80° in there at the hottest points of the day. They still refuse to install air conditioners or even cool air fans of any sort

At 11am, it's 70°, on it's way up to the low 80's. That's all well and good, but it's the 25+mph wind that puts a damper on the days outdoor activities.

A couple days ago we got up to a solid 85. That was a fair bit too hot for my tastes I think.

It's been warm (70s) here for the last couple weeks. This is July weather for us. I have no idea why it's here in May. Usually around now we're still struggling to break 65 and getting some rain.

Summer has arrived in Blighty. 25 yesterday, nearly 27 down by the Solent. Going to be hot all week too. Now, given I'll be outside for most of the day and am already burnt, I'm thinking long sleeved rugby top and light shorts, my legs never burn if I'm walking about.

Still should mean a decent crowd for the Middlesex T20 tonight. Kids for a quid too, so I don't think alcohol sales will be like they were on Friday.

First day of Winter and it didn't disappoint. It was absolutely freezing today! This was me all day.:nervous: I really was blue all over, stupid me went to school with shorts and a T-Shirt.:D

It's not winter if you can go to school in shorts and a t-shirt and not get hypothermia.

 Here you can still survive.:D It was probably about 15C which is really cold here. I feel sorry for the northern hemisphere in winter.:scared:

Finally getting are rare summer in the UK, yesterday was baking and today its still early and its already 22 degrees!:)

Apparently its only going to last a week till it gets unsettled again. :indiff:

15C is a reasonable day for us! We get like -9 sometimes!

I hope that's C. :P Even so, that's still not that warm, We get that warm in winter sometimes.

That would mean there is no such thing as winter in Australia. The absolute coldest overnight it gets to is about 2C.

Much better than yesterday, even with the temp 10° cooler.

Pah, you need some proper weather! Nothing like a good cold winter to toughen you up a bit. ;)

The UK needs colder weather during the winter, it would pick off the weaker people.

To be honest, I think we have it fairly good here. It doesn't get too hot during the summer and it doesn't get too cold during the winter either. It stays about right during summer and winter and just rains a lot inbetween.

I went there in the middle of July once, and I walked around in shorts and a T-shirt most of the time. Light jacket in the early morning was all I needed.

You guys are lucky.

We've had 27 so far, and we're about 6-7 weeks off the hottest part of the year. Think we could hit 35.

Meh, it got to 48C here around Christmas.

Yesterday we had some splotchy and quite strong storms come through in the afternoon. One of them in particular was only as big around as a typical county here in Ohio, but it went from light blue on the edge to freaking purple in the middle. The weatherman said he had no idea what the purple meant. It's like a portal to another dimension in the middle of the storm or something. So the 3-inch hail this thing was throwing out went south of my house by only 1 or 2 miles, and all we got was some decent rain. Luckily the wall cloud never materialized into anything.

And now today it's 20 degrees cooler and raining. Sixty-five FTL.

Really? We get purple all the time. That is like monsoon downpours or light hail. We have even on occasion had black. That is zero visibility downpour with golf ball or bigger hail.

It’s sunny and raining hard. WTF? This doesn’t happen in San Diego.

At 2AM this morning, we got one hell of a lightning storm! It was awesome. Haven't had one like that in a long time. Noisy, bright and then the rain came pouring down. Hail, too. It rained, no stormed, off and on until around 8AM.

Now, it's still cloudy and humid, but cooler than it was last night, which was stuffy hot. Typical June gloom.

Ffff-f-ffff-rrr-rr-r-eeee-ee-ee-zz-zzzz-zz-iiii-iii-nnnnn-ggggg

 +1! I'm freezing at the moment. My hands turn blue all the time, it's so annoying cause I look like a freak.:scared::crazy: Maybe all the GTPer's are right about the alien comments.:scared::nervous::lol:

As of last night I have gotten an inch and a half of rain this week. I got a half inch over the weekend and an inch yesterday.

Today, because I'm at work all day, mostly sunny and 80. :grumpy:

Tomorrow, because I have half days on Friday, high of 63 with a chance of rain (with increasing chances on Saturday and Sunday). :grumpy:

Well, the lightning storm we had yesterday was very deadly. Two people got struck and killed. One lady in Fontana got it really bad. It was very gruesome.

It's good the lightning storm ended but a new one is coming tomorrow or later tonight. I hope this one isn't as bad.

Typical June Gloom and COLD, for some strange reason. It's hardly 70 degrees outside! WTF!?
