This. Temperatures will go down considerably (also under 0) this week though. More sunshine also.

So, where are you actually from?

Edit: Oh from wales?

Yeah, my sig gives you a brief explanation. I study German at Uni in Wales, but at the moment I'm doing a year abroad here in das Vaterland.

Love how you always say: "Das Vaterland!"

When does your year end here?

31st of May...ish.

I'm living on Usedom, MV. The country is lovely, but this area is a bit boring. No young adults.

Bleak.

I see, that's a bummer.

But hey, the 24h of Nürburgring is on the 21st of May if I remember correctly. :sly:

So you still should be able to look forward to something. (sounds weird)

We might end up with our first dose of winter this season here the SE Michigan. We are supposed to get 1-3" of snow over the next couple of days, but with ground being as warm as it it, I don't see any issues coming out of it.

Besides it melting and then the freezing temps we have now move East, of course.

City-wide ice rink! 💡

With everything that sucks with Michigan roads, they tend to drain pretty well and ice is rarely a huge issue. Plus we live on one of the largest salt deposits in the world so they love to throw that stuff on the road and much as they possibly car.

In the past two days we've had, hailstones, flood causing rain, thunder, lightning, and severe winds, so much that people are cleaning up the mess today. Keep in mind that it is Summer here right now. It's still windy, but everything else has passed.

Snow! Vancouver never gets snow that sticks unless you go up the mountains but we got a few inches last nigt and this morning. Apparently its supposed to snow off and on the next 3 days too. Very mild though only around 0 to -4 C or roughly 32 F.

Yep, my friend almost killed himself slipping on ice, he managed to stay upright. I hope more snow falls.

23 right now heading to 40 today
then a few inches of snow and below zero for the first time this year on monday night

Okay when anyone can beat my cold... then talk. :yuck: RAIN?! That's not cold!!!
It's 🤬 cold here. It was -7F (-21C) this morning, it's +2F (-16C) now. Between today and Monday, it won't get above 20F (-7C).

Ahh man I feel bad for you, I can't even stand when it's 40 degrees let alone amy colder.

Well, apart from the usual fog and gloom it's around 4 here. Pretty cold but a thick jacket will do the trick.

Got a call from the wife today, she's in Bangkok wearing shorts and t-shirt. Some people have all the luck.

Its a bit late but we had a white christmas here in Melbourne well not with snow but hail the size of GOLF BALLS and in some areas hail was the size of LEMONS!!! Christmas was also very humid it got to 31C / 90'sF... Then after 3pm the worst(most severe) storms in a lifetime came through causing heaps of damage... hail went straight thru ROOF TILES!!
Made thousands of cars 'right-offs'.. Also a few tornados around the airport (i use to live 4km from there!!)

Today will be 33C(mid 90'sF) clear, windy and dry... going to the pools tommorow because it going to be 35C(97F)

Our Christmas was hot and humid. It was in the 30's with storms looking threatening but they didn't come. SA weather is actually boring. :D

Today will also be around 35C here, also windy and dry. Although tomorrow's forecast is 38 and showers. It's going to be in the 30's at least for the next full week. :) On another note, my local footy pre-season training starts tonight. It's supposed to be a winter sport.

Actually today's forecast was revised up to 36 for Adelaide, so probably 37-ish here.

As gtavcfan pointed out, it was indeed snowing in Seattle. Most of the major roads and freeways are plowed, but not the neighborhood streets. It's suppose to be below freezing tonight, so tomorrow will be interesting with everything iced up and an entire city built on hills. All the streets are going to turn into a skating rink.

I can't decide if I should move my car to the bottom of the hill that I live on so I can get to work tomorrow, or if I should just not go in to work.

Still sixty five today, can't believe it's t-shirt weather in January. This was certainly not the case last year.

Well it got up to 39C before lunchtime, before a cool change came in. It's now about 35 and looking like showers. Let's hope so as gale force winds in this dry heat made for a severe fire danger.
