We just had a pretty bad Thunderstorm roll through here.It was 42 degrees when it started,42 degrees!!. Our weather has been crazy for the past 3 years.

High of 82 degrees tomorrow. Didn't the groundhog agree to more winter?

Just gotta love Houston weather. 👍

I didn't know the groundhog thing came around already.(I don't have cable or satellite.)Yeah i'm pretty much shut off from the world

We've had a little bit of snow here, but it's mainly been Thunderstorms, which is very weird for Tennessee in Winter.

A few years ago we had thundersnow.

Sounds like Sunday should be fun - at least 3" of snow, 40+mph wind and around -30°F windchill.

Sounds like a great day

That wind can bite pretty hard when it's that cold.

And if my wife and I are going to be able to make it to work on Monday, I'm going to have to be out in it to get the driveway cleared off. Yay! :irked:

Usually when we get thunderstorms when it's around 25-35C, and usually during summer. Is it common for one to come in winter there?

Previously it has been quite cold and some showers in what is usually the hottest and dryest month of the year with the odd showers and occasional thunderstorms. It has been warm on a few occasions and when it has it seems to me a lot more humid than usual. This place is supposed to be a desert in January and February.

It's finally started to warm up now, the current weather, 38C for the next 2 days. Playing basketball at 8 tomorrow night and cricket all Saturday. Then 30 and rain/possible thunderstorms Monday. Shoot me if the next 2 days are going to be humid. Haha

Man i hate having to do that.

Ever since one of my Dad's friends passed away from shoveling a driveway,i've had to do it every year for 4 years now for him.The guy was the same age as my dad so he's afraid to shovel it now.

No man it's not very common for one to come in Winter here.I've been living here for 30 years now and i can say the weather has changed.

Back when i was younger when it was winter,it was winter.Cold,Snowy and you would never have a day above 35 degrees. Now it's the complete opposite. The past 3 years i've noticed it changing more quickly,we almost don't even have a winter here anymore.

You want to hear today's crazy forecast?Well it's 73 degrees right now.Late tonight we are going to have more thunderstorms and a Tornado warning is in effect as well.I have to work in the morning,so I've got to stay up and wait for this to pass over before i go to sleep tonight. The last Tornado we got was back in August and it was pretty scary. That's another thing, as long as I've lived here I have never seen or even heard a Tornado until last year, now it's a common thing around here.I dread tonight.

Sorry about that I just started typing and couldn't quit.

The town where I work and grew up was the hottest place in the UK today! 18.6°c according to official figures but it was showing a constant 20-21 in my car 👍 It made a nice change from freezing to death at work anyway!

Haha if you spent a "winter" here it would not be a winter. I don't believe the temperature has ever dropped below 0C even overnight where I am (It gets close and may have every now and then but even so it's very rare).

We spent last night outside on a balcony, it was still 33C at about 1am, so I'd doubt it went below 30. Great night to be outside but horrible to sleep in as we only have A/C in one room. I woke up about 5 times with my pillow just about soaked in sweat. Not nice :(

Weather is nice and polite at the moment, makes one feel pretty happy.

Although, could do with being a bit warmer and not so windy... heh heh!

I just woke up, opened the blinds and can barely see the house across the street thanks to the snow and wind. Checking the forecast, we're supposed to be getting about 8" today.

It's nearing Spring and it just started snowing here in the Lower Mainland. :odd:

Any thoughts on if this could be related to climate change?

Since when is the end of February almost spring?

You can have a blizzard anywhere from September to May (give or take). That doesn't mean that the Mayan's were right. Or maybe they are and you should run up a bunch of credit card debt.

Don't run up a bunch of credit card debt.

We've never had any snow during Feb-Sept.
No snow? In Canadaland? In March or February? Never? I call shenanigans. We had a full tilt, city lock down blizzard in April.

Not that I can remember, so perhaps it had snowed before, just very seldom during late February or early March. As far as I'm aware, we get the least amount of cold and snow compared to other Provinces.

Not cool if you wanna stay home from school.
