It's been boiling hot and sunny here today, at last!
It's been a bit....worse..in some places though. Especially where there are Mazdas, judging by a Google search for the last 24 hours:

It was really got today (upper 90s/100) an now it is pouring. It's also lightening like mad. :D I love storms.

Watch out thats the same systems of storms I got this morning in New York and we got a small tornado. Keep an eye out.

Well I didn't get a tornado but it looked like I was for a while. There was a big swirly cloud that passed over at one point. But we did lose power for quite a while. Just came back now.

When Michigan had the warmest winter on history then hit 87 degrees in March I knew it was going to be a brutal hot summer. A couple places here already hit 104-105. I personally dont mind the heat but I wish it would rain so I dont have to run the sprinkler as much. In a massive drought right now. Much of the US actually is.

Slashfan,
Thanks for posting those pics. I also like storms. :)

No problem. Some of those clouds look horrifying, like something out of a movie.

From sitting in the sun all day Saturday.

I don't know what was more disturbing, the exterior heat bubble surrounding the car, built up from sitting in the sun, or the engine temp gauge just after I started the car. It had been sitting off for over four hours before that.

Oh briiliant I go to work in the sunshine with no additional jacket or coat. And now it's belting it down... weather why you be trollin me!?

Just another crap and unpredictable day in Melbourne. Windy in the morning, sunny at noon, and started bucketing down a short hour afterwards. I wish god would make up his mind! lol

Worryingly, my neck of the woods has decided it's summer again, and wearing shirts is once more unbearable hot ... But at least off to Corsica soon, 27 degrees every day, no rain!

London weather is about as schizophrenic as Seattle's. In both days I've been here, each day has had gone from sun to rain multiple times.

Chingqing is properly flooded. I woke up to a thunder storm at 8am and sat watching the clouds roll down the river. Rather strange to see.

It was 103 yesterday, but today is different. It's only 96, but the humidity is way up. I hate the humidity. :yuck:

So much cooler today and tomorrow. It will be just 81 tomorrow and 79 on Tuesday and the humidity is gone! Now, that's more like it!

I'll trade. St. Louis had been 95-108 for going on three weeks. We had a 1 day break last week were the storms were biblical. The temps are one thing, but I'm ten minutes from downtown and the humidity places the heat heavily on ones shoulders; like you're walking through broth.

Doesn't sound too good either, to be quite honest... But I'd still love to experience anything that at least resembles what a summer is supposed to be. I think the hottest and most sunny days were back in February or maybe March.
