The wind can carry things like bugs and they can get into your eyes also, when the wind is blowing hard enough here I don't want to look up as it makes my eyes water.

And you think they would close a school because of some bugs and watery eyes?

I think he meant strong wind whilst snowing, i.e a blizzard.

My school only closes if: Never, my school never closes.

It has closed before, but that was only because snow damaged the boiler and they aren't that cruel to send kids to school in a school environment below freezing.
They keep the boiler outside? At a school? A place of education and intelligencia? Irony

You can have a boiler outside it was probably an oil boiler they have to be correctly lagged and insulated so in cold weather conditions the pipes dont freeze and burst

92 degrees today! Bright blue skies and a steady breaze. Not a single cloud in the entire sky. Perfect day! The same tomorrow. It will stay much like this for the next 5 days or so.

SoCal. :p

35 degrees here after 82 the other day lol

It's been quite windy all week but today there's just a slight breeze, so it's very refreshing with the low heat we've got here in Scotland. It looks like most of the UK has great weather today.

Was lovely yesterday, today slightly colder and more overcast but at least its all heading in the right direction!

Ummmm. Yeah, more of this white stuff this morning. Just giving you a heads up TB.

It's not even 11:00AM yet and it's already 83 degrees! Going to be very HOT today. Maybe 95 or so. Still no clouds, but there is a haze in the air. Probably due to a fire in the hills to the West of us.

We're already talking about setting records, and not the good kind, so we really, REALLY don't need any more rain or snow for a while.

To be fair, those pictures are from 1997, but they're saying we might set a new record again this year.

Point of reference - the Red River in Fargo is usually around 10 feet deep and minor flood stage is 18 feet. The record, set in 2009, is 40.84 feet, all because the stupid thing flows the wrong way.

Sunny, and almost warm weather here, and it's supposed to reach up to 70 or so in the week.

I don't trust this weather.

It was very nice out yesterday, but now it's freezing. Earth, why do you do this?

Yesterday got warmer than I thought. About 82. Today, different story. It's only 62 degrees and no Sun or blue skies at all. Total cloud cover and moderate constant cold winds. The Sun still might come out and if it does, the temps should reach around 72. 20% chance of rain, too.

It's been a sunny and rainy day, today... It's currently raining, with a way too high, 11°C (at 8.35 PM)!

We had a dusting of snow this morning, but it didn't last more than an hour.

We're supposed to hit the 60's for the first time (and the first 50's for that matter) this weekend. I'm expecting more snow instead.
