Are you sure you are driving in Costa Di Amalfi? A one minute lap is ridiculous in an AE86. Considering you said 1'07 at first, I thought of it as a mistake, but then saying "a 1 min flat" I'm doubting you are driving in Costa Di Amalfi.

Another expensive car is the Toyota Gt 2000 at 160,000 credits.:boggled:
Only has 160 hp kind of bad of useless but, my credits can take the damage.

The 2000GT cost a bundle of money in GT2, as well. I think it was like 113,000 credits or something. On top of this, it happened to be one of the rarest cars of the used lot, which made countless thousands try to seek it..

...only to find what a SLUG it is! :lol:

It's not totally useless, tho. You can gain plenty of credits with this old Toyota if you're skilled in either GT2 or 4. I've won hundreds of thousands of credits with cars which have even less than 160 horses. 💡
 
I love the 2000GT. It's gorgeous and handles well for a forty-year-old car.

Ericdemory, why do you hate the Cien? I know the gearshifts are slow as hell, but it's nowhere near the worst car in the game. It seems kind of ridiculous for me to call a 750 hp supercar the worst car in GT4.
 
It makes me lose against a 500 hp car, suckish braking, and kind of slow than I thought. Sorry!

Overpriced =/= worst. The Skyline Sport and 2000GT are expensive because they're worth quite a lot as collector's cars.

GT4 reflects this collectors' bias... which is why old Muscle cars cost quite a lot in the game.

Of course... I'd rather have the Alfa Romeo Giula Sprint (the sedan version, not the carroziera-bodied one) than the Skyline, but that's personal preference.

BTW... +1 for the 2000GT... lovely little car.

i cant agree here, the Prelude SiR S-Spec handles, so the Prelude cannot be the worst handling FF Honda. in fact i cant really think of a FF that does not handle atleast halfway decent if i had to name a worse it'll be very difficult, i tune my FF's just to that handle. i cant name a worse car just yet im working on it but i've seen alot of good points so far...

I'm totally with you on this one, Luke. Other than the gearshifts (which I don't really care about), I don't find the car a bad one at all. You just need to adjust your driving style to it, ericdemoryGT. Not every car handles the same.

I love the 2002 Turbo BMW!:sly: I've said this before somewhere else on another thread but the reason I love it is because its not overly powerful. I can concentrate on putting down clean laps instead of trying to stay on the road; which is the case for me in some of the high powered race cars. :):)
 
Having come back from UKGTP12 last weekend where we raced in the 2002, I'd say it's a brilliant car and shouldn't even be mentioned in a thread about the worst cars! By the same logic, I'd also be willing to put forward the Range Stormer as a strong contender for the shockingly bad and often hillarious roll-oversteer it displays if you so much as think about touching the brakes. It's as close as the game gets to having a vehicle that's almost impossible to drive quickly.
 
Honda Element. I tested it once, and it went faster (If you account for hill differences) down the straight at the Ring in reverse than in forward gear. It went 107mph forward downhillish and 105mph uphill in reverse.
 
I've not driven the Element yet actually. I'll have to have a go. It can't be any worse than the Odessey, which handles fairly well but feels ridiculously slow absolutely everywhere...

Apart from a modicum of novelty interest, I would have to say the Jay Leno Tank Car has very few redeeming features.

Does not mean I do not want it in my garage though :)

The worst car ever in GT4 - the 1886 Karl Benz Patent Motorwagen. Off-topic, the worst car ever, including those outside Gran Turismo, is the Kia Picanto.
