That's why you start out in sixth. I actually did a drag race with it in sixth versus going through the gears normally, and I found it's not that much slower starting out in sixth. Mind you, I think I gave it all mods.

I've done about 4 different tunes on the Minolta, refreshed and did everything possible, even put on some super soft tires and yet the stupid son of a ***** skids out if i tap the wheel :grumpy:, I'm keeping it tell i figure out what the hell is wrong with it

That's the ticket!!! yeah it's all about the challenge. If you can tame the beast then you've acomplished your mission.👍

And moderators uphold the rules.

The issue here is..?

The issue is, He was already corrected (In his on post i might add) and he posted again to let everyone know he got the message. So there was no need for a moderator to jump in an add his two cents [twice]. It comes off as being wanting and needy. "Hey everybody i'm a moderator and going to tell you what's what.":yuck: The situation was handled, no need for the moderator to come in and flex his/her muscles.

Hey what do you guys think of the BMW 2002, fell in love with that little car after fully tuning it!!

Stock BMW 2002. N1 tires. Nurburgring. Countersteering bliss. :D

Come on...Who doesn't like a van with Nitrous,a roll cage and racing seats :D

Thats equvalently dumb as comparing dogs to a f1 car around the 'ring

So is comparing it with a Suzuki Cappuccino. I find the Life van to be very fun.

Actually i have found a worse car. the chapparal. terrible accerleration

For me the disappointment was the Caterham. I'm getting used to it but I hate that motorcycle engine they put into it. Also, all the muscle cars that redline around 100 mph. Just as you're closing to pass someone the thing redlines, overheats and slows down. Frustrating!

Heres a tip on the muscle cars: You have to remember you can still customize
the transmission.👍
I used the Dodge Charger '70 on the 1000 Mile event on the La Sarthe II and absolutely crushed the competion!!:dopey:

Customising the transmission is also the tip for the Caterham. For whatever reason PD modelled a huge pause in the gearchange for the Caterham, despite the fact the car uses a motorcycle's sequential gearbox and changes are near as damnit instantaneous. If it weren't for the slow gearshift it'd be a very nice car to drive. However, with a racing clutch, flywheel and fully customisable transmission the change speed is much quicker and the car feels more alive (then you just need to tame the desire for the car to fly over bumps as the sense of gravity isn't up to much in GT4!).

Are you kidding me? sure the caterham has bad acceleration characteristics but check out its handling!!

Fiat 500F, it was fun crashing into it with the Chevrolet Chevelle. I made it go 200kph XD.

EDIT: the Fiat 500F's top speed is 106kph, just in case you were wondering.

And all this took place in February.

The situation was handled. No need for you to come in 7 months later and complain about it.

I like doing the 50 lap races in the arcade but can't use your modified cars.

As it has some relevance to the threads subject. What are the 10 slowest cars on the game?

1st: 3 wheeled Benz
2nd: 4 wheeled Benz
3rd: Model T
4th: Old 3 wheeled Japanese truck

After that I'm stuck and I'm not even sure that my 3rd and 4th placed cars are right.

I actually like driving the Daihatsu Midget. I take it everywhere but yeah, it is slow.

Same, I enjoy driving both the Midgets. I tried the Honda Life Step Van last night too to see what all the fuss was about, and I found it quite pleasant compared to many of the low-powered cars as it's geared quite short so doesn't spend its time labouring in unsuitable, long gears.

So I'd say the Step Van isn't anywhere near the worst car in the game.

The Lister Storm. something wrong with the handling on that.

Care to elaborate? What do you dislike about the handling?...

well, it is heavy-ish..

IMO, I think the Lister is one of the slower race cars.
Don't get me wrong it is fun and I will drive one but,
there are many other race cars to choose from.

Yeah it is one of the slower race cars, probably due to its size and weight. Its not totally bad,but there are much better cars to choose from in its class.

I'd like to award the (yellow) Nismo 400R Skyline prize car a special nomination for 'possibly most disappointing'. After the R34 Nur V-Spec Skyline, which is a beast and handles well, I was kind of expecting this one to be similar.

Wrong... It didn't turn, understeer up the wazoo no matter how much I tuned it and fiddled with the suspension. Couldn't keep up with any rival cars no matter what I tried, where the Nur would often obliterate them (also on N2 tyres and also 4WD). Big letdown there, and quickly sold since the credit seemed a better deal after all that fuss.
