Things you would like to see in GT5 other than cars?

I'd like to see the return of HP-limited races from GT2. That way you wouldn't be able to just muscle your way through the races with an overpowered GT-R. ;)

I'd like to have my own playlist, and while I have the cockpit view I can change tracks with L3 or R3.......
Imagine, driving on a Daytona International Speedway, you pass to P2 and then the 1st blocks you. Nerves are begining to shorten.......You totally freak out and then you remember how to control yourself through music. You blast those speakers out with "Move B*tch" by Luda and show them what you got. You try the left side, then the right side. Screen HUD says one more lap to go, you send everything to hell and in the last turn, when Mystkal starts his lines in the song:"Here I come, here I go, o-ooooo........" you overtake the first and WIN!
Whatcha think 'bout that?

Sorry if this has been posted before, i did search but couldnt see it.

I would like to be able to save more than once, for example in GT4 i was racing the FGT champ, would have like to go away and just take another car for a spin, then go back to the FGT races without losing progress in the championship. Maybe even the ability to go and go another race at te same time.

You know, about how much money you start with, I figured a way which would work a lot better. Have it based on what you obtained while doing the first (or first 2) license tests! So say you got all bronze (the bare minimum), you would start off with say the standard 18,000 credits. If you got all silver, it would move up to 22,000 credits. And if you got gold, it would go to 26,000 credits. (or perhaps some average could be obtained)

By doing this, the people who do the minimum amount of work (or the people that need the most practice) would have enough credits for a slow car to start out with, and practice on. The people that go for all gold, they're obviously much more skilled drivers and should be awarded more for their effort (as well as allowing them to start with a quicker car, which they can still easily handle).

The standard is 10,000 credits except for the NTSC-J games which are 1,000,000 though all the prices in the game reflect this increase in credits to more accurately represent Japanese currency.

The only GT game where you started with 18,000 credits was GT3 and that was because there was no used cars to buy in the game and they decided rather than to screw with the pricing to just give you more credts to start with. GT1, 2 and 4 all gave you either 10,000 or 1,000,000.

We got cars for gold and I believe even Silver in GT4. I would guess that this trend will continue. So money credits is not really necessary. However I would prefer credits compared to cars that you may not really be able to use to much.

Oh I know you won cars, but they were usually unusable or you just didn't like the vehicle. Like you said, with credits instead of a car you could choose what vehicle you get. And of course I don't mean winning the credits for the medals, but rather determining the credit level you start off at in the game (after obtaining the first license).

The idea is interesting but it would negate the idea of open events that don't have a license restriction. I like to try and progress in a structured manner usually and get the no-license events done and then take the first license etc. I think the cars you could buy for under 10k in GT4 was more than enough variety and if you wanted to you could buy a car that would last quite a while with no modifications needed. I tended to go for cars in the medium of how much performance I could buy, something like an FTO but I usually spotted a lancer or two with around 100bhp more that I could afford and there were plenty of cars at or around the 200bhp area.

I would like there to be some chatter in GT5. Like when you're are racing you hear your team giving you tips on the next turn and what not. And when you're just free driving, maybe have someone casually talk to you and comment on your technique from time to time, I think that would make it much less lonely.

When I'm driving down that track in GT4 where you're weaving around in this European mountain down on roads barely wider than your car at high speeds, I want to hear someone say to me "Oh my god, slow downnnnnnn." XD

More replay Angles and in car camera angles? Oh yeah I did mention that..

Oh man I cant think of anything, as I read through, seems everything is covered.

It would be funny if when you buy a car in a manufacturer you can choose the interior of the car (color, materials...) and the exterior (rims, spoilers kit...) as when you buy a new car where we have several equipment options to choose.

(stock manufacturer parts only, not tuner parts).

Ex:

Buy a stock:

BMW 335i coupe

Choose in BMW Manufacturer options:

+ M Package
+ blue paint color
+ M3 rims
+ gray leather interior

:)👍

Agreed! Now that we have detailed car interiors, we should also be able to choose what colour we want the interior to be in. 👍

Yeah that sounds great! Allready some cars have different Rim colors and or interior. So it be nice to choose your own.

As well they really need to fix the 3D camera for your own angles and zoom in so you can enjoy the car models much more.

You guys are going a little over the top... :indiff:

Kazunori Yamauchi: You GTPlanet gamers don't know what you want! That's why you're still gamers; 'cause you're stupid![sticks his face to the window, difforming his nose] Just tell me what's wrong with the freakin' game!

Great Ideal and the more better options on the car you want the more the car should cost. I think this will be in the game, and also the ability to look in the interior from any angle. PD created these beautifull Interiors im sure they want the gamers to see them to get an even greater appreceation for the cars. Dont be shocked if we have the option to look in the interiors anyway we want for GT5 👍

I hope that doesn't explain the delay of GT5, lol

I would love to see bit more detail on SPECS sheet when you buy and already own a car.

For example show RPM and Horsepower/torque specs sheet.
If the car comes with Solid Axel or Independent suspension..
Stuff like that
It would also be nice when you buy suspension kits, it should tell you if you want to switch from SOLID AXEL ( Mustang GT for example) TO all Independent suspension kit.

I would also love to see improved Physics and tire physics..

Good example, almost any track with slight hill, Brake till your car stops, Turn so that the car will be parallel with down hill, let go of Brake pedal and rear or front tires act like there is ICE on track..

I would like:

-Weather to change according to the calendar in the game.
-Selling your cars online at the price you want and see who wants to buy it.
-Mount Panorama!!!!
-Brake wear.
-Ability to change engines if your current engine has permanent power loss.
-Damage!!!!!! And if your car gets too damaged in a race you have to retire.
-Free roam(In a city where you have to drive to get to a showroom, the License Center, to apply for a race, to get on a plane just to use photomode, etc.)along with traffic.
-Commentary during a race!!!!!
-Day and night, and weather(foggy days, cloudy days, rainy days, etc)
-Dirt on your car if you rally race or if you go offroad.
-More dynamic photomode
-Fix the A.I!
-A seperate GT mode with only motorcycles.
-Formula 1 cars from the past.
-Le Mans being mentioned by name.

Since Body Kits suppostily are going to be in GT5. I would love to see more dboy kit choices for Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, Jaguar etc all the Euro-sports saloons.

I drive mostly with these Euro cars, and I would love to see body kits for them. At lest for almost every Mercedes Benz, I would love to see at least 3 types of body kits. I would love to body kit the EVO II 190e or the C63, I would love to distinguish myself a bit more. I know all the Japanese cars like the STi's or the Evo's R30s will have lots of body kits. So please implement more body kit choices for Classy Euro- Saloons.

Um, excuse me sir. The thing is, there's not really anything wrong with the Gran Turismo, it's as good as ever. But after so many years, the game just can't have the same impact it once had.

just a small one:

Could PD change the speedo cluster illumination to be more accurate. Drive through the HSR tunnel to see what i mean. The NSX seems accurate, but the GTI 4 for example, is not( its supposed to light up a a blueish colour.

Not a biggie, but simple to change.
