Things you would like to see in GT5 other than cars?

A much better currency value instead of just credits .Like US dollars , EUROs or YEN (could be optional depending on your region or your prefrence) so you will have a greater sence of how much you are spending and how much thing are worth. Hope they do something about it this time around . Well
E3 is days away we will just wait and see.

I think different currencies would do more harm than good for communities like this one.

PD could let us the possibility to try the cars before buying them in somekind of a showroom with a test track

Having the option to take a car for a test drive would be a great feature. But I think it should cost a small fee depending on the car (e.g., Honda Civic Type R = 50 credits to test drive, Honda NSX Type R = 150 credits, Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera = 300 credits, etc) or else test drives should be limited to a certain number of laps or specific amount of time per car (e.g. 30 mins) and/or one or two test tracks. And if for example you use only 10 mins of your 30 min time, then you have 20 mins of test driving left to use whenever you want. Just a thought ! :)

I like the time idea, although I think it should reset after say 100 days. I'm also not sure if you mean 30 minutes total or per car. 30 minutes per car would probably be better as I easily spend an hour trying to select a car for leagues.
 
Hey, on the note of test driving cars, You know how when you go to a Lambo dealership they won't just let you take one for a test drive? Well what happens if you had a racing license and the bank to buy 3? That should decipher weather or not you can test drive that car!!!

Oh it actually counts as the first 4 wheeled car (the first car was the Benz Patent Motorwagen but this one has only 3 wheels).

I would like to see variable weather conditions, but that's probably a bit farfetched. :indiff:
 
Change 4WD -> 2WD -> 4WD traction of Off-Road vehicles.

I know that the off-road vehicles (SUV, PICK-UP...) of today have permanent 4WD traction that can not be disconnected.

But it would be fun and very realistic if we could turn off the 4WD to 2WD, in vehicles that in real world is possible like the old off-road cars.

Driving a jeep in 2WD is totally different that in 4WD (performance, fuel consumption, driving...)

I'd like to see more championships for the different series. Even though it wasn't officially said, we still got race series in GT4, as the cars (well, some of them) were there.

We got a good showing for LMPs and WRC, the former getting several championships - not least an actual 24h event at Sarthe itself - and the latter getting it's own bloody hall!

But as for Super GT and F1, how many championships did we get for each? One. One championship. I mean, yeah, if you loaded up a Super GT or F1 car in arcade mode, you would get a grid full of SGTs or F1s respectively. But I'm talking about proper GT mode events.

I actually had a weird GT dream last night that made me realize this. In my dream I was playing GT4... which, in my dream, was a much bigger, better version. The only thing I can manage to remember was a screen. It had the black JGTC Subaru Impreza rolling along Special Stage Route 11 (!) as a background, and there were various windows, each with their own events. This was the Super GT hall, apparently.

There were events like 1000 miles, all-night endurance, Super GT World Championship, Super GT street circuit tours... all these different kinds of events, but all for Super GT cars.

And this is what we need! Different halls for all the seperate race series... i.e Super GT, WRC, NASCAR, etc. with their own endurance races, race series, championships.
 
I agree with this dream 101%. In fact, I'd like each race series developed into some sort of a Career Mode as well.

I know that the GT-series are simulation games and that is the main focus with the games, thats fine by me and I loved each and every game that have been made so far.
I still remember the first time I played GT1 in the mall and ran straight home to tell my brother about the amazing game.



But I would like to see a casual gamemode (yeah, one mode would make this game über for me) that could be used online that wasn't all about getting to the finishline as soon as possible.
A game mode where you could make use of your skills but still have a laugh with people, perhaps something like "cat and mouse" which is present in PGR series (se video below).

Just something relaxed for those days when you are not on the top of your game or just what to have some fun.

Not to down you at all, but I see two things wrong here:

1. Other then basically doing a drag race, its got nothing to do with driving

2. I honestly doubt PD is gonna License the EF-2000 Typhoon from Eurofighter just for one challenge.
 
How about better turbo noises? There's nothing more awesome then listening to a turbo spool up and hearing the compressor surge or the BOV. In GT5P the Blitz Skyline sounds nothing like it's real-life counterpart. If this really is the "Real Racing Simulator" they better step it up.

Its not a racing sim, Its "The Real Driving Simulator".

i dunno man the blitz skyline sound sick on my tv i hear bov and turbo spool!

I was playing GT4 recently and noticed the 300SL is displayed with its gullwing doors up. I think it'd be pretty cool if there was an option in the showroom/garage or whatever to show each car with its doors/trunk/bonnet open.

It'd give us a nice view of the engine and interior :)

And if the full game has Koenigsegg's/Lambo's... :dopey:

Like in the WRC games! You can open up the doors. Spiffing idea 👍
 
I still say that we need gridgirls. and girls who wash your car after a race.. a personalized garage. and random race generator, that randomly chooses your car from the cars you have, and throws you into Le Mans in Peel P50.

thats mean u dont like (driving mission mode) in GT4 coz some missions have some ideas about im talking to
