Things you would like to see in GT5 other than cars?
I'd like to see accurate stats.
Many cars (especially non-japanese) in past games had incorrect specifications.
I hope PD took the time to correct all those errors.

Russian cars (including race cars).
Laraki.
Lotec (who'd name their car that?!).
Gotland ring.
100 license tests.
Endurance on Deep Forest, Autumn Ring, Motorsportsland, a rally course, Complex String, Gotland, and Nurburgring FULL.
More levels for license tests (and a prize car for completing license at each level).

I would like to see LOTS more endurance races. I would like endurance races on all tracks, with different races for different classes of cars. For example, I would like to have the option to have a competitive race around Grand Valley speedway in GT race cars, then the next week have a different endurance race around the same track in mid-range sports cars, etc.

Rally enduros would be fun too. It certainly can't take too much programming to make these things possible. The tracks are there, the cars are there, just give us the opportunity to thrash our cars for hours on end in a single race.

I would even like to see more 'championships of endurance races' like 1000 miles! in GT4, or the Formula GT races, where you get a series of races longer than just a few laps around the same old circuits.

Unfortunately, I get the feeling that this is the opposite of the direction PD is heading. KY has said that people don't want to invest the same amount of time in games now that they used to, or something like that. Unfortunately, I think he is right on the most part, but us nerds can dream can't we?

The ability to penalise drivers who cut corners, shunt other drivers and are basically complete 🤬 when it comes to racing.

Impatient people can just play it all in B-Spec and skip all the fun.

you should have the option to freelance (in/out) car around in (career/online) modes to find races hang out etc... like a built in home

How about "Photo Race" mode or "Custom Race" where you can select the cars you want to race against, either from your garage or from the single make. 'Cause trying to enter a race with teammate cars in GT4 is a pain in the butt. It'd be nice to be able to select teammates from a menu. Also. I hope that we get to but more than one car in photomode. Maybe not in every location, but maybe in select locations like the warehouse seen in one of the demos.

When you stray off course in a license test, a penalty is incurred, by adding current time.

I like the current setup of just failing people for going off-track. Teaches people to race clean.

Ugh, this would be a godsend. I tried to do a recreation of the GT1 Sunday Cup and the GT1 Normal Car Series in GT4 for my gallery and it took endless amounts of fiddling with the race settings to get some of the competition I wanted, and even then it was never all in one race.

Being able to place multiple cars in Photo Mode would be handy, but it's easy enough in Photoshop so I won't be too bothered if we can't ;).

Someone has probably mentioned it, but it would be nice to have a bit of personalization with the driver avatars that have been pictured.
It'd be great to have your own colour schemes and sponsor logos on your overalls and your pit crew's too.

What would be even better than that would be a mode that let you have a designated team with two cars per-team so you could have a proper manufacturer's championship. And designated positions in each team IE mechanics who would change the cars set-ups depending on the circuit and various other positions that I won't go into to much detail, but I'm sure you get the idea... :sly:

If not that we could at least have seasonal races with both driver and manufacturer championships. Would be a different alternative to gaining just points for championship wins

Also endurance for kei cars, and old cars (Benz Motorwagon, Model T, Subaru 360, etc.) Preferrably on Nurburgring.

I like the Benz Motorwagen, I really do, but an endurance race on the Nürburgring?
One lap would already be an endurance race for the old Benz and even that was impossible to do in GT4 as it didn't get over some hills on its own.:)

Then I demand engine swaps in the game, just put a proper small block american V8 and that thing will run the nurburgring in sub 8 minutes, or not. :D

The Isle of man circuit just put the ring to a shame, it would be a blast to run a supercar race on it, how many minutes do you take to lap it? Twelve? Awesome track.

Wow, a small block American V8 with those skimpy "bicycle" tyres........:nervous:

How about drift tires in addition to Street, Sport, Racing, Dirt, and Snow tires. Drift tires have special groves cut in them to keep the car a bit more stable when going sideways.

Thinking about the Nurburgring and the Isle of Man TT circuit made me think about this:

The tail of the dragon. I know its nothing as internationally known as the other two I mentioned, but it is pretty famous to people around here (Tennessee, NC area), as well as motorcycle and sports car enthusiasts from a pretty wide area. There is also a loop which would be fun, but seeing as its 120 miles long, the hopes of it ever being modeled are pretty slim.

Anyways, I guy can dream. The real thing is pretty heavily monitored for speeders, so it would be cool to fly on it as fast as you wanted/could.

Some things I think would be pretty lame if they weren't included are just basic stuff.

I mean, changing your paint job.
There's nothing more frustrating than having to race all that money together again just if you want a different color. They can exclude rims before this as far as I'm concerned.

And some kind of rewind option in replays. Come on! How difficult is it to just include such a simple feature. It would be so nice to have it finally. Especially with damage now included, it should be possible to view it extensively in the replays again and again without restarting the replay all the time.

Proper AI, it's a bit more complicated.
But I really...
This isn't exaggerated or something, I REALLY hate the fact that I have to race and catch up with 15 cars before getting to the lead car finally. I want difficult races in terms of AI. Not in the number of cars to pass. Because I'm going to pass them anyway.

Qualifying in every race. Just make it possible please.

And really really take care of the online feature, I already really like it at the moment. But please pay attention on it. Nothing beats good online features.
In the same way as rewind buttons etc for replays.
It doesn't have to be spectacular and all, just make it user friendly as much as possible please.

Saving through pit stops or something during endurance races. It should be mandatory, it's not that healthy to sit behind a screen for 24 hours. Again, make it user friendly please.

If there is a used car section. PLEASE!!!! Make it show up more than merely 300 RX7's all with different colors. That was embarrasing..
Might as well just leave it out then I mean come on there's no REAL use for a hundred Skyline's and RX7's. Let it have some variation please.

If there's a used car section, have lots of mediocre and common cars, e.g. VW Golfs, Nissan Almeras, Mazda 3s/Axelas, etc.
